Il contributo prende in esame la traduzione del Decameron dall’italiano antico a quello moderno realizzata da Aldo Busi (Rizzoli, 1990). Senza intervenire direttamente sul dibattito relativo all’opportunità di tradurre un classico della letteratura italiana in lingua moderna, ci si occupa di analizzare le tecniche e le scelte interpretative operate da Busi nel dar vita al proprio rifacimento. Il saggio si sofferma dunque sul rapporto tra i due testi ragionando su lessico, sintassi, stile e poetica. Si mostra così come la traduzione sia orientata da una specifica interpretazione che del Decameron privilegia la forza edonistica, la potenza inventiva, la carica licenziosa.

As one of the main official channels of communication for the White House, they play a crucial role in the administration communication strategies (Kumar 2007). In this article, we analyze a corpus made up of two general French-Italian and Italian-French bilingual dictionaries and two multilingual dictionaries. We take into account, in particular, the macrostructure, the microstructure, the technical terminology and the phraseology of these dictionaries. Using a magnifying glass metaphorically, we focus on the treatment of the specialty language of commerce within the articles of the general bilingual dictionaries.
