Search for weakly decaying b -flavored pentaquarks

Investigations of the existence of pentaquark states containing a single $b$ (anti)quark decaying weakly into four specific final states J/$\psi K^+\pi^- p$, J/$\psi K^- \pi^- p$, J/$\psi K^- \pi^+ p$, and $J/\psi \phi (1020) p$ are reported. The data sample corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 3.0/fb in 7 and 8 TeV pp collisions acquired with the LHCb detector. Signals are not observed and upper limits are set on the product of the production cross section times branching fraction with respect to that of the $\Lambda_b$.

Este documento analiza las características demográficas y psicologicas de los CEO de firmas born global en America latina como determinantes de la intensidad exportadora mediante una muestra de 12 paises que fueron tomadas del proyecto global entrepreneurship monitor en el año 2017. Como resultado encuentra que la orientación a la innovacion y la proactividad son dos factores psicológicos determinantes. Con respecto a las variables demográficas, la formación y la experiencia en mayor medida, y el genero y la edad en menor medida son determinantes en la construcción del perfil psicológico adecuado para un CEO de una firma born global.
Searches for lepton number violating $K^+$ decays

The NA62 experiment at CERN reports a search for the lepton number violating decays K+ -> pi(-)e(+)e(+) and K+ -> pi(-)mu(+)mu(+) using a data sample collected in 2017. No signals are observed, and upper limits on the branching fractions of these decays of 2.2 x 10(-10) and 4.2 x 10(-11) are obtained, respectively, at 90% confidence level. These upper limits improve on previously reported measurements by factors of 3 and 2, respectively.
Limits on point-like sources of ultra-high-energy neutrinos with the Pierre Auger Observatory

With the Surface Detector array (SD) of the Pierre Auger Observatory we can detect neutrinos with energy between 1017 eV and 1020 eV from point-like sources across the sky, from close to the Southern Celestial Pole up to 60 in declination, with peak sensitivities at declinations around ∼-53 and ∼+55, and an unmatched sensitivity for arrival directions in the Northern hemisphere. A search has been performed for highly-inclined air showers induced by neutrinos of all flavours with no candidate events found in data taken between 1 Jan 2004 and 31 Aug 2018. The article is a contribution to the biography of the Catholic clergyman, parish priest in the parish of Łubniany located in Upper Silesia – the Rev. Franciszek Pogrzeba. He was one of the fourteen priests who signed the so-called “Appeal to Priests”, in compliance with which they broke off their cooperation with the Catholic German Center Party (Deutsche Zentrumspartei) and supported the Deputies of the “Polish Circle” in the German Parliament. Fitz-hugh-curtis syndrome secondary to postpartum endometritis: Case Report and literature review

We report a case of Fitz‑Hugh‑Curtis syndrome (FHCS) 1 week after an urgent cesarean section. Although its onset in the postpartum period is poorly reported in the literature, we suggest that FHCS can complicate puerperal endometritis; therefore, it should be consider in differential diagnosis in puerpera with right upper quadrant pain.
