Abstract Prior studies predominantly use cross-sectional designs to determine effects of pro-environmental beliefs on green purchasing attitudes, thereby limiting the possibility for causal inferences and examining mediation effects. A correct food tray sealing is required to preserve food properties and safety for consumers. Traditional food packaging inspections are made by human operators to detect seal defects. El presente trabajo analiza las creencias epistemológicas y el sistema de valores de 760 estudiantes de la Universitat de València desde un enfoque descriptivo. An Examination of the Structure of the Career Decision Self-Efficacy Scale (Short Form) Among Italian High School Students

This study aims to evaluate the factor structure of Career Decision Self-Efficacy scale-short form in a sample of Italian high school adolescents. confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) was used to test the degree to which a one-factor structure and a five-factor structure provided the best fit. In view of available research the five-factor structure was expected to provide the best fit. Moreover, factorial invariance in males and females was tested. It was expected to be invariant across groups. As expected the five-factor structure showed a better fit than the one-factor model and the factorial invariance resulted invariant across boys and girls.

Philosophy begins where science ends. Philosophy has ceased to be a science. It is a source of its own. The limits of science make obvious that faith belongs to being human. Faith is either religious or philosophical. Faith is a main phenomenon of being human. It consists in the simple fact that persons have ultimate convictions. Philosophical faith is existential faith. Its certainty is tied to the individual. Philosophical faith cannot be achieved without personal effort, without acts of actual freedom, and without realizations of Existenz. Jaspers’ concept of philosophical faith turns out to be a new synthesis of historical conditions and philosophical requirements.

Glow-worms in the night. Street prostitutions and prevention projects - Traditionaly, sexual-work conflict and street partnership have been studied separately. This study examined the impact of sexual-work conflict and health. The results show that there are a significant relationship between sexual-work conflict and health especially with inter-role conflict. The scale have been applied to a Sicilian sample of 114 prostitutes in a social project of prevention. Key words: Sexual-work conflict, helath, health belief, partnership.
