This article proposes to reconsider the concept of lived cultural experience. In a first part, we explore the track of value. We try to justify of its interest to apprehend the experience. We also seek to improve the conceptualization of the experience by defining it as an interaction place - object. Then, in a second part, we present an empirical test of this conceptualization in the field of lives performance. This test is followed of a discussion about the results.

Organisational Challenges for School Development and Improvement : The Obstructing Role of Sub-Groups and an Overly Positive School Culture

The purpose of this study has been to identify and analyse obstacles embedded in the school organisation that impede organisational development and improvement. The general findings show that the school structure comprised sub-groups and had characteristics of a diversified organisation. This led to dysfunctional discussions that challenged school development and improvement. Second, the findings revealed that the nature of the school culture may challenge school development processes. Artikkelissa tarkastelemme sukupuolistunutta väkivaltaa aineenopettajaopiskelijoiden koulukokemusten näkökulmasta. Merkittävä määrä nuorista altistuu väkivallan ja häirinnän eri muodoille. Kouluterveyskyselyjen mukaan erityisesti tyttöihin ja sukupuolivähemmistöihin kohdistuva väkivalta ja seksuaalinen häirintä ovat viime vuosien aikana lisääntyneet huolestuttavasti. Itsetunnon perustaa rakennetaan päiväkoti-iässä. Päivi Koiviston tutkimus yhden päiväkodin toimintakulttuurista osoittaa, että lasten itsetunnon vahvistaminen päiväkodin arjessa on mahdollista, mutta se vaatii kasvattajilta ja koko työyhteisöltä tietoista toimintaa ja uskallusta oman työn kriittiseen arviointiin ja kehittämiseen. The article investigates the gastronomic universe of street food through two steps. The first is theoretical and highlights what are the founding semantic categories of street food with respect to other culinary worlds (home cooking, fast food, etc.) and, through this specifically relational point of view, also explains the transformations and inversions between systems of values that are in principle opposite.
