Digital Vitruvius, or an elogy of the equilateral triangle

On interpretation of an architectural project, triangle’s form generally refers both to plans of organic architecture and to fronts of Romanesque and Gothic churches. This wonderful form, that contains God’s eye, is, according to Vitruvius, the geometric generative principle of the Roman Theatre. Everybody knows that De Architectura arrived to us without images; in the past there were innumerable interpretations, from editio princeps (1486). A digital transcriptions, that follows side by side a Vitruvius’ book’s translation, highlights the compositional process that defines that the equilateral triangle is the geometric element that give origin to the composition of theatre.

This paper aims at showing how integrating the Archive of the Italian Latinity of the Middle Ages (ALIM) into the ILC4CLARIN repository can provide mutual benefits. Making ALIM available to a large community of scholars and researchers, on the one side, represents the first step to reduce the lack of resources for Medieval Latin in CLARIN and, on the other side, constitutes an unprecedented contribution to not only linguistic investigations, but also to the studies of the culture and science at the basis of the Western European society. Se presenta un espacio web, con formato de red social. Creada en 2009 por el grupo de investigación UAM-PR:007 “Recursos digitales para la Educación Artística”, pretende facilitar el desarrollo de actitudes abiertas y críticas ante la sociedad actual desdoblada entre el mundo real y el virtual, facilitar el aprendizaje continuo y a la actualización permanente que requiere el ejercicio de nuestra profesión.

Uso de la infografía en la optativa “Alimentación y Dietética” del grado de Medicina

[ES] Como sustitución de la clase magistral, en la sesión dedicada a tratar las características de “dietas occidentales de moda” de la asignatura optativa 34493-Alimentación y Dietética del Grado en Medicina de la Universitat de Valencia, se utilizaron infografías previamente diseñadas por los estudiantes. Con esta iniciativa se pretendía mejorar la participación del alumnado en la asignatura, además de profundizar en la materia, mejorar sus habilidades digitales y de búsqueda y síntesis de información.
