This chapter aims to familiarize readers with the specificity of pharmaceutical discourse, including its spoken and written text varieties. I paid particular attention to two issues. Firstly, pharmaceutical discourse and pharmaceutical texts are often classified by researchers into broader category of medical or biomedical discourse. Second, pharmaceutical discourse is not autonomous as it is also permeated with medical, legal, academic and other discourses. Displaying agency problems at the outset of psychotherapy

In order to present him- or herself at the outset of psychotherapy as a credible client, the person needs to, on one hand, formulate a sense of lost agency in accounts of his/her life situation, and on the other, to present him- or herself as willing and able to take part in conversational self-exploration. In this study, we looked in detail at how one person, seeking psychotherapy, constructed accounts that served this double function. The paper focuses on the ?unexpected pathways? of successful students with an immigrant background: these biographical routes, that seems socially impossible, raise theoretical issues around the individual-society, actor-structure relationship. This paper aims to contribute to the study of translation or omission of operadores and conectores in Italian and Spanish written discourse, through the analysis of a corpus extracted from the bilingual magazine Legioni e Falangi/Legiones y Falanges. Esta tesis doctoral analiza el feedback correctivo en una clase plurilingüe desde una perspectiva CLIL. El objetivo de este estudio es examinar el feedback que tiende a ser utilizado cuando se corrigen los errores orales en clase comparando diferentes asignaturas, todas ellas impartidas en lengua inglesa. Para ello se analiza la relación entre tipos de feedback y tipos de errores en diferentes asignaturas. Przyjmując założenie o aktywnej roli języka w profilowaniu rzeczywistości danego dyskursu, w niniejszym artykule ukazano charakterystyczne praktyki dyskursywne stosowane powszechnie przez media wiązane z niemiecką Nową Prawicą w ich relacjonowaniu problematyki kryzysu migracyjnego oraz uchodźców. W oparciu o wybrane płaszczyzny modelu DIMEAN analizie poddane zostały internetowe wersje czasopisma „Junge Freiheit” oraz magazynu „Compact”.

Artykuł przedstawia wyniki analizy wybranych dyskursów prasowych dotyczących aktualnej problematyki uchodźczej. Celem artykułu jest znalezienie odpowiedzi na następujące pytania: 1) W jaki sposób problem uchodźców jest wyrażony językowo w wybranych zbiorach tekstów? 2) Jakie cechy charakterystyczne nadaje uchodźcom prasa i jak są oni oceniani? 3) Jakie różnice i podobieństwa można zaobserwować w opisie problematyki uchodźców w oparciu o wybrane zbiory tekstów?

Este artículo analiza 40 historias digitales comunitarias basadas en los principios de estudios de discurso crítico basados en corpus (Baker et al., 2008). Las historias se analizan con la intención de probar si pueden clasificarse como ejemplos de historias sociopolíticas digitales.
