Signs in public space reflect ‘normalcy’ in a community. The authors ask what restricting signs tell us about a society? In order to explore the system and variation in the ways dog signs manifest different norms and control, they compare two different data sets: dog signs in a Northern European town, Jyväskylä in Finland, and two Eastern European villages in Romania. They apply a qualitative methodology based on visual communication, geosemiotics and linguistic landscape studies. This research is done in order to examine the role of the brand capital in higher education. For this purpose, we analyze the main contributions of the literature related to the study of the brand capital and its application in the educational sector, identifying which variables determine the brand capital in the higher education sector. Wittgenstein's theories offer the starting point for looking at the socio-political implications of the language spoken by the institutions in the various historical phases: the communication system with which they relate to the outside world is functional in conveying the sense and scope of their action, building a precise relationship with public opinion. Starting from this assumption, the contribution takes into consideration some aspects of the recent practice of the Constitutional Court, with particular regard to press releases, and proposes an interpretation of the communication breakthrough pursued in recent years, relating it to the exercise of the function of warranty.

Che cosa significa “formare insegnanti ed educatori ludici”? Partendo dal significato del termine “Ludico”, il saggio approfondisce in cosa consista la “capacità di giocare” con i bambini e di promuovere il loro gioco libero. Propone quindi una riflessione riguardo ad ambiti, percorsi e metodologie per la formazione sottolineando come questa debba essere caratterizzata: da un apprendimento centrato sull’esperienza, sull’osservazione e sull’auto-osservazione; dalla dimensione di gruppo; dalla interazione tra pari, da attività focalizzate sui linguaggi artistico-espressivi; da un’attenzione alla dimensione psico-corporea ed emotiva.
