Muzyka w celebracji sakramentu małżeństwa

2017

Among the sacraments that their ordinances were renewed as a result and order of the Second Vatican Council, the sacrament of Marriage was one of them. The new celebration of the this sacrament was to active that the rite „more clearly point out sacraments grace and duties of the spouses”. An integral part of the solemn celebration is music. It’s main task is to „sing” with the word and sound the mystery that is the core of Marriage – the spousal love of Christ to His Church. In sacramental rituals, only the music created for them, being on services of the liturgy, is able to communicate the spiritual and theological content of the rites. Unfortunately, the weakening faith of Christians bec…

Similar and equal relationships? Negotiating bisexuality in an enduring relationship

2015

In the public debate in Finland, same-sex couples’ right to legal recognition is routinely defended by stressing their sameness to heterosexual couples within the discourse of romantic love. This article explores how bisexual women and their partners use these discourses. The five couple interviews were analyzed by implementing discourse analysis. The results highlight how, when taking positions within the discourse of the enduring couple relationship, the interviewees drew on the discourse of romantic love. Woman’s bisexuality disappeared easily in this talk. Although it seemed effortless at first sight, negotiations and affective tensions arose when the interviewees tried to fit their re…

2016

Herbert Doms belongs to the circle of German theologians that in the first half of the twentieth Century contributed to the discussions on the teaching of the purpose of marriage. His book About the meaning and the purpose of marriage published 1935 in Breslau became an important work that proposed the distinction between the meaning and purpose of marriage and on this way opened new ways in Catholic theology towards an understanding of marriage. Uzasadnienie nierozerwalności małżeństwa w ujęciu protestanckim

2017

2017

The Holy Bible is the basic source of the wedding homily. Apart from the Bible, the ordinances of the sacrament of marriage are an important element of the content of the homily. The words of the marriage vow are a sacramental formula and a constitutive sign of the sacrament of marriage. They express their marital agreement and establish a marriage covenant. Hence, the content analysis of marital promises in the context of preaching a wedding homily plays an important role, which is still too little used in preaching. Preachers pay attention to the relationship between the sacrament of marriage and the Eucharist, which, as the sacrifice and feast of Christ, is a school of love and sacrifice…

Christiani Matrimonii Institutio per Des. Erasmum Roterodamum, opus nunc primum & natum, & excusum

The author re-evaluates the concept of conjugal love: marriage is the mystical union of two souls, the expression of an emotional understanding between spouses. He also suggests a mitigation of the norms on the indissolubility of marriage: if there is conflict between the spouses, for the salvation of their souls he considers the possibility, as extrema ratio, of dissolving their marriage.
