SPH method: numerical investigations and applications

In this paper we discuss on the enhancements in accuracy and computational demanding in approx- imating a function and its derivatives via Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics. The standard method is widely used nowadays in various physics and engineering applications [1],[2],[3]. However it suffers of low approximation accuracy at boundaries or when scattered data distributions are con- sidered. In this paper we discuss on some numerical behaviors of the method. Some variants of the process are analyzed and results on the accuracy and the computational demanding, dealing with different sets of data and bivariate functions, are proposed.

This meta-analysis is a critical comparison of three of quantitative synthesis. It applies some propositions of the Potsdam international consultation on meta-analysis, in the field of management control. Study design. After a traditional narrative review, three meta-analysis methodologies for the synthesis of articles with heterogeneous methodologies and fields are presented. ABSTRACT Two meteorite pieces have been recovered in Italy, near the town of Cavezzo (Modena), on 2020 January 4th. The associated fireball was observed on the evening of New Year’s Day 2020 by eight all-sky cameras of the PRISMA fireball network, a partner of FRIPON. The computed trajectory had an inclination angle of approximately 68° and a velocity at infinity of 12.8 km s−1. Together with the relatively low terminal height, estimated as 21.5 km, those values were indicating the significant possibility of a meteorite dropping event, as additionally confirmed by the non-zero residual total mass. Idea metody BIPOLAR polega na tym, że warianty decyzyjne nie są porównywane bezpośrednio ze sobą a z zestawami rozwiązań wskazanych jako referencyjne. Takie porównanie umożliwia sprawdzenie czy istnieją przesłanki do uznania danego wariantu za mający przewagę nad każdym z pozostałych. Zbiór rozwiązań nazywa się zbiorem punktów referencyjnych, który zawiera rozwiązania dobre i złe. Metoda BIPOLAR uwzględnia wszystkie etapy procesu decyzyjnego: wybór kryteriów oraz określenie ich wag, modelowanie preferencji decydentów, wybór właściwego wariantu decyzyjnego na podstawie rankingu.

Interactive methods support decision makers in finding the most preferred solution in multiobjective optimization problems. They iteratively incorporate the decision maker's preference information to find the best balance among conflicting objectives. Several interactive methods have been developed in the literature. However, choosing the most suitable interactive method for a given problem can prove challenging and appropriate indicators are needed to compare interactive methods.
