This chapter contains a description of the evolution and main characteristics of the private sport sector in Spain. The first section outlines a panoramic vision of the structure and organizational framework of the Spanish sport sector, illustrating the established supremacy of the public sector above the voluntary and private sectors. Next, an analysis is laid out, utilising data from Section 931 of the Central Business Register of the National Institute of Statistics. The increase of education in younger people and the relative scarcity of qualified jobs available for them make the overeducation of young workers a social issue. We explored the relationships between overeducation and extra-role behaviors (job content innovation and career-enhancing strategies) as well as the direct and moderating role of personal initiative and intrinsic work values in these relationships. Diplomdarba mērķis ir izpētīt, kādi spēļošanas elementi var palīdzēt attīstīt skolēnu pašvadītas mācīšanās prasmes 5. klases angļu valodas stundās, jo pašvadītas mācīšanās prasmes ir nozīmīgas skolēnu turpmākajai dzīvei. Turklāt iepriekšējā pētījumā autore atklāja, ka spēļošana ir efektīvs līdzeklis, lai saglabātu skolēnu interesi un motivāciju. Kā pētījuma metode tika izvēlēta gadījuma izpēte. Datu vākšanas metodes ietvēra anketu, autores pašnovērtējumu un angļu valodas stundu refleksijas, kā arī skolēnu atsauksmes. Personal resources and labor market are factors that contribute to perceived employability. However, how changing labor market conditions affect the relationship between personal resources like career enhancing strategies, personal initiative, and career passivity with self-perceived employability remains unclear. Recent events in Spain give an opportunity to examine if personal resources predict perceived employability differently during normal and harsh labor conditions. Abstract We adopt an operatorial method, based on creation, annihilation and number operators, to describe one or two populations mutually interacting and moving in a two-dimensional region. In particular, we discuss how the two populations, contained in a certain two-dimensional region with a non-trivial topology, react when some alarm occurs. We consider the cases of both low and high densities of the populations, and discuss what is changing as the strength of the interaction increases. We also analyze what happens when the region has either a single exit or two ways out.
'School adopts an experiment': the photoluminescence in extra-virgin olive oil and in tonic water

We report a laboratory activity, carried out along with high- and secondary-school students, that can be done to increase the interest of the young in scientific studies. Groups of selected students ‘adopted’ experiments at physics research laboratories, under the guidance of university researchers. Subsequently, the students demonstrated the experiments to the public at large during the annual science festival organized in Palermo by the association PalermoScienza, in collaboration with the University of Palermo.
