Motorisen oppimisen vaikeuden tunnistaminen ja tukeminen kouluympäristössä

2018

Motorisen oppimisen vaikeudella, kuten kehityksellisellä koordinaatiohäiriöllä (DCD), tarkoitetaan huomattavaa vaikeutta oppia uusia motorisia taitoja ja soveltaa jo opittuja taitoja uusiin tilanteisiin. Lisäksi tutkimus selvitti, miten opettajat voivat kouluympäristössä tukea lapsia, joilla on haasteita motorisessa oppimisessa. Tutkimus muodostui neljästä osatutkimuksesta. Ensimmäisessä tutkittiin systemaattisen kirjallisuuskatsauksen avulla maailmalla käytössä olevien havainnointilomakkeiden psykometrisiä ominais…

Professional Journeys and Research Lives of Physical Education Teacher Educators

2019

During the early years of research in the subject area of physical education (PE), Lawson (1991) set out an agenda for bettering our understanding of those who educate teachers of this subject. Among the research questions he identified as worthy of consideration were their career pathways and the motivations for and impact of their research endeavours. The research presented in this thesis had four aims: (i) to scope the extant literature on PE teacher educators, (ii) to examine the professional views of an international group of PE teacher educators regarding the purpose of their subject, (iii) to determine what influenced participants’ entry to, and development within, their profession, …

Understanding Language Teacher Identities : Conceptualizations, practices and change

2019

This chapter presents some new approaches and questions in language teacher identity research that could facilitate a better understanding of the work of language teachers, and as a consequence help teacher educators to support them in that work. Language teacher research has shown that periods of change play an important role in identity development. In the field of general teacher research, several studies have addressed the significance of transition phases and changes in curriculum for teacher identities and beliefs. However, there has been some research on the significance of teacher education and transition to full-time teaching for language teacher identity development. A more partic…

2019

The aim of this study is to outline the development and changes in pre‐service teachers' technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPACK) assessments during the first 3 years in teacher education. Revista electrónica de investigación y evaluación educativa

2014
