The mechanical properties of hydrated cements need to be optimized according to the nature of cement products. Among the factors of optimization, the addition of calcium sulphate intended to regulate the reactivity of tricalcium aluminate (C3A), in quantity and quality in cement is an essential parameter.The advancement of knowledge on the mechanisms of hydration of each cement phase allows a study devoted entirely to the concept of optimum of sulphate. Kvantu algoritmi algoritmiskās ģeometrijas uzdevumiem

Viens no svarīgākajiem uzdevumiem teorētiskajā datorzinātnē ir 3SUM uzdevums. 3SUM uzdevumu var formulēt sekojoši: ir dota kopa S ar n veseliem skaitļiem, ir jānoteic, vai eksistē tādi a, b, c ∈ S, ka a + b + c = 0. Šim uzdevumam algoritms ar sarežģītību O(n^(2-ϵ)) nav zināms. Uzdevums 3SUM ir reducējams uz daudziem ģeometriskajiem uzdevumiem, un tiem algoritms ar sarežģītību O(n^(2-ϵ)) arī nav zināms. Darbā ir apvienotas divas svarīgas datorzinātnes nozares: kvantu skaitļošana un algoritmiskā ģeometrija ar mērķi izveidot kvantu algoritmus 3SUM-HARD klases ģeometriskajiem uzdevumiem. Daudziem no tiem ir atrasts kvantu algoritms ar sarežģītību O(n^(1+o(1))).

Elektronisko pāreju uz zemāko tripleta stāvokli a3Sigma(+) reģistrācija un analīze RbCs un KCs molekulās

Maģistra darbā tika pētītas pārejas no sajauktiem ierosinātiem elektroniskiem stāvokļiem uz a3Σ+ stāvokli RbCs un KCs molekulās. Pielietojot lāzeru inducētās fluorescences (LIF) augstas izšķirtspējas Furjē transformāciju spektroskopiju, RbCs molekulā ir novērotas un analizētas pārejas no A1Σ+~b3Π kompleksa uz a3Σ+, kas ļauj pārliecināties par aprēķināto A~b kompleksa viļņu funkciju precizitāti, kā arī pārbaudīt pārejas dipola momenta funkciju aprēķinu korektumu. KCs molekulā tika novērotas LIF pārejas no c3Σ+ stāvokļa uz a3Σ+ stāvokli. Tas ļāva noteikt c3Σ+ stāvokļa līmeņu enerģijas, kas nepieciešams šī stāvokļa potenciāla iegūšanai. In situ analysis of the bacterial communities associated to farmed eel by whole-cell hybridization.

Bacterial communities in water samples and eel slime were investigated by fluorescence in situ hybridization of whole bacterial cells in an eel intensive culture system over 1 year. A newly developed probe, matching 27 Vibrio spp., and a specific probe for Vibrio vulnificus were used. Phylogenetic probes complementary to selected regions of the 16S and 23S ribosomal RNA revealed that Proteobacteria of the alpha and beta subclass were predominant in water and eel slime. Members of the gamma subclass (e.g. vibrios and aeromonads) were more abundant in eel slime, although no V. vulnificus was detected.
