Liability for space activities is a much discussed subject and the advent of commercial space operations has only added to its importance. Articles VI and VII Outer Space Treaty, together with Articles II and III Liability Convention, remain the main entry level for state liability for damage arising from private space activities. Few space-faring nations have introduced national space statutes that include a flow down of their international obligations. Clinical microbeam radiation therapy with a compact source: specifications of the line-focus X-ray tube

Highlights • Line-focus X-ray tubes are suitable for clinical microbeam radiation therapy (MRT). • A modular high-voltage supply safely enables high electron beam powers. • An electron accelerator was designed to generate an eccentric focal spot. • We simulated a peak-to-valley dose ratio above 20 for single-field MRT. • Microbeam arc therapy spares healthy brain tissue compared to single-field MRT.

Abstract The Eudontomyzon danfordi characteristic habitats state of Maramureş Mountains Nature Park varies greatly, 19.05% are in excellent conservation status, 47.62% are in good/average status and 33.33% are in a partially degraded condition. The identified human impact categories which induced the decreasing of Eudontomyzon danfordi species habitat state in the studied area are: poaching, minor riverbeds morphodynamic changings, liquid and solid natural flow disruption, destruction of riparian trees and bush vegetation, habitat fragmentation-fish populations isolation, and organic/mining pollution activities.
