The solution commonly employed to solve this problem approaches the shielding gas and/or the shielding gas device. However, the sustainability of this new production method needs to be supported by scientific research, especially in the field of virology. We studied the prevalence of three important virus diseases in agroecosystems with regard to its management system: organic versus non-organic, with and without greenhouse. Abstract Hemocytes from the ascidian Ciona intestinalis exert in vitro Ca 2+ -dependent cytotoxic activity toward mammalian erythrocytes and K562 cells. To examine the lytic mechanism, hemocyte populations were separated (B1–B6 bands) through a Percoll discontinuous density gradient, the hemocyte cytotoxic activity (HCA) and the lytic activity of the hemocyte lysate supernatant (HLS) were assayed. In addition the separated hemocytes were cultured and the cell-free culture medium (CFM) assayed after 3 h culture. Synthesis and Antileukemic Activity of New 3-(5-Methylisoxazol-3-yl) and 3-(Pyrimidin-2-yl)-2-styrylquinazolin-4(3H)-ones.

3-(3-Methylisoxazol-5-yl) and 3-(pyrimidin-2-yl)-2-styrylquinazolin-4(3H)-ones 8a–l and 9a,c–e,h–l were synthesized by refluxing in acetic acid the corresponding 2-methylquinazolinones 6 and 8 with the opportune benzoic aldehyde for 12 h. The synthesized styrylquinazolinones 8a–l and 9a,c–e,h–l were tested in vitro for their antileukemic activity against L-1210 (murine leukemia), K-562 (human chronic myelogenous leukemia) and HL-60 (human leukemia) cell lines showing in some cases good activity.

Angular Dependency of Hyperspectral Measurements over Wheat Characterized by a Novel UAV Based Goniometer

In this study we present a hyperspectral flying goniometer system, based on a rotary-wing unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) equipped with a spectrometer mounted on an active gimbal. We show that this approach may be used to collect multiangular hyperspectral data over vegetated environments. The pointing and positioning accuracy are assessed using structure from motion and vary from σ = 1° to 8° in pointing and σ = 0.7 to 0.8 m in positioning. We use a wheat dataset to investigate the influence of angular effects on the NDVI, TCARI and REIP vegetation indices.
