A new species of Silene sect. Dipterosperma (Caryophyllaceae) from Sicily

Silene kemoniana, a new species of the section Dipterosperma from NW Sicily, is described and illustrated. It is a therophyte that occurs in mountains near Palermo, where it grows on Mesozoic limestones in xerophilous garigues. Its relationships with S. colorata and allied species are also examined. Background: Groin pain is a frequent condition among athletes. One of the causes of groin pain is tendinopathy, a frequently diagnosed medical condition, which can also occur in the adductor muscles. Despite the high prevalence of this medical condition among athletes, it is infrequent to observe tendinopathic groin pain in steeplechase runners. The problem of artistic destruction and its reconstruction has been little studied. Using a microhistorical analysis method, we study the town of Lliria (Valencia) and its brotherhood of ?La Sang de Jesucrist? (had a great heritage from the 16th to the 19th centuries), and we also analyze how and why this destruction and reconstruction was generated during the context of the civil war. We use and combine different sources (public of the ?Causa General? and private of the ?Minute Books?) for this research, with the intention of specifying the analysis of this complex process. In the year 1788, the parish of Los Santos Juanes in Valencia proposed to the City Council the erection of same classical-style portico in order to beautify its outer eastern façade, surrounding the head of the temple and relying on the Plaza del Mercado. This portico was never built, but there would be an impact of such an architectural purpose in subsequent reform plans of that outstanding urban location.

In the ?barri del mercat?, in the city of Valencia and very close to its Lonja, there is a building complex which is the object of this study. The research, carried out from the simple field of toponymy, to the constructive analysis, lead us to suppose that it is the building of the Valencian trade union of cloth-shearers. It can be seen how the building now camouflaged by other subsequent interventions, corresponds to a type that cannot be related to those usually built in the city of Valencia. Physical exercise induces acute physiological changes leading to enhanced tissue cross-talk and a liberation of extracellular vesicles (EVs) into the circulation. EVs are cell-derived membranous entities which carry bioactive material, such as proteins and RNA species, and are important mediators of cell-cell-communication. Different types of physical exercise interventions trigger the release of diverse EV subpopulations, which are hypothesized to be involved in physiological adaptation processes leading to health benefits and longevity. Analysoimme ilmiota kuulijatestilla, akustisin mittauksin ja kirjoittajien tekemin kuulonvaraisin havainnoin. Puhujina ovat varsin edistyneet suomenpuhujat, jotka puhuvat suomea toisena tai vieraana kielenaan. Tuloksemme antavat uutta tietoa vieraan aksentin ja foneettisten piirteiden yhteyksista seka tarjoavat avauksia jatkotutkimukselle.
