Hölder regularity for the gradient of the inhomogeneous parabolic normalized p-Laplacian

In this paper, we study an evolution equation involving the normalized [Formula: see text]-Laplacian and a bounded continuous source term. The normalized [Formula: see text]-Laplacian is in non-divergence form and arises for example from stochastic tug-of-war games with noise. We prove local [Formula: see text] regularity for the spatial gradient of the viscosity solutions. The proof is based on an improvement of flatness and proceeds by iteration.

We establish regularity for functions satisfying a dynamic programming equation, which may arise for example from stochastic games or discretization schemes. Remarks on regularity for p-Laplacian type equations in non-divergence form

We study a singular or degenerate equation in non-divergence form modeled by the $p$-Laplacian, $$-|Du|^\gamma\left(\Delta u+(p-2)\Delta_\infty^N u\right)=f\ \ \ \ \text{in}\ \ \ \Omega.$$ We investigate local $C^{1,\alpha}$ regularity of viscosity solutions in the full range $\gamma>-1$ and $p>1$, and provide local $W^{2,2}$ estimates in the restricted cases where $p$ is close to 2 and $\gamma$ is close to 0.
Electrical conductivity of glass fiber-reinforced plastic with nanomodified matrix for damage diagnostic

The electrical conductivity of glass fiber-reinforced plastic (GFRP) with epoxy matrix modified by multiwall carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) was studied. The electrical conductivity of nanomodified lamina and multi-layered GFRP was investigated on several levels using a structural approach. Components of the electrical conductivity tensor for unidirectional-reinforced monolayer were calculated similarly as in micromechanics using the conductivity of the nanomodified matrix. In this article we explore issues of embodied control that relate to current and future technologies in which body movements function as an instrument of control. Instead of just seeing ourselves in control, it is time to consider how these technologies actually control our moving bodies and transform our lived spaces. By shifting the focus from devices to choreographies among devices, we perform a theoretical analysis of the multidimensional aspects that reside within embodied interaction with technology. Working the fields of big data : Using big-data-augmented online ethnography to study candidate–candidate interaction at election time

The paper proposes big-data-augmented ethnography as a novel mixed-methods approach to studying political discussions in a hybrid media system. Using such empirical setup, the authors examined candidate–candidate online interaction during election campaigning. Candidate–candidate interaction crossing party boundaries is scarce and occurs in the form of negative campaigning via social media, with the shaming of rival candidates and engaging in battles with them. This article examines how students in a multidisciplinary project-based learning course involving real customers perceive their interactions with their customers. The authors conducted a qualitative study and analysed students’ learning reports by means of a thematic network analysis. Šajā Skolotāja pieredzes darbā ir izpētīta un aprobēta radošo darbu metode kā iespēja palielināt vārdu krājumu. Vārdu krājuma trūkums ir viena no galvenajām problēmām svešvalodas apguvē, kādēļ skolēni nevar pilnvērtīgi lietot valodu. Savukārt klasiskās mācību metodes, piemēram, mācību grāmatu un darba burtnīcu izmantošana, pārsvarā sniedz tikai īslaicīgus rezultātus. Pētījuma auditorija ir Rīgas vidusskolas 6.klašu skolēni, kas pirmo gadu apgūst krievu valodu kā otro svešvalodu, līdz ar to viņu sākotnējais vārdu krājums ir relatīvi līdzvērtīgs.
