Abstract Two new prenylated isoflavones, named erysacleuxin A (1) and B (2), along with eight known compounds, biochanin A (3), 5′-(3-methylbut-2-enyl)pratensein (4), 7-demethylrobustigenin (5), 3′-(3-methylbut-2-enyl)biochanin A (6) abyssinone V-4′-methyl ether (7), sigmoidin E (8), erythrinasinate (9), and burtinone (10) were isolated from the stem bark of Erythrina sacleuxii Hua (Leguminosae). Foreign capital, credit constraints and continuity of firms’ R&D

ABSTRACTIn this article, we investigate the role of foreign capital participation as a means for firms to overcome the obstacle posed by credit constraints to sustain R&D investments. Using data for Spanish manufacturing firms in the period 1990–2006, we show that firms with foreign capital are significantly less likely to stop already initiated R&D projects and also more likely to sustain R&D investment when facing credit constraints. Our results are robust to positive selection into foreign capital participation, which we control through a set of variables chosen from a propensity score estimation, and to firms’ fixed-effects.

Mass transport problems for the Euclidean distance obtained as limits of p-Laplacian type problems with obstacles

In this paper we analyze a mass transportation problem that consists in moving optimally (paying a transport cost given by the Euclidean distance) an amount of a commodity larger than or equal to a fixed one to fulfil a demand also larger than or equal to a fixed one, with the obligation of paying an extra cost of −g1(x) for extra production of one unit at location x and an extra cost of g2(y) for creating one unit of demand at y. The extra amounts of mass (commodity/demand) are unknowns of the problem. Maģistra darbā ir izskatītas FINREP (Financial Reporting) finanšu datu atskaišu standarta pielāgošanas iespējas darījumu inteliģences sistēmām. FINREP standartu izstrādāja Eiropas Banku iestāde, to izmantošana ir reglamentēta Eiropas Savienības kredītiestādēm, kas atbilst noteiktām prasībām. Maģistra darba mērķis ir izpētīt FINREP finanšu atskaišu veidošanas iespējas Oracle Hyperion Financial Management maksas rīkā, kā arī izpētīt pieejamos atvērtā koda darījumu inteliģences risinājumus. Izvēloties vienu no atvērtā koda sistēmām, izpētīt to pielāgošanas iespējas FINREP atskaitēm, secinot vai ir iespējams panākt līdzīgo funkcionalitāti kā Oracle Hyperion rīkā.
Automated Patch Assessment for Program Repair at Scale

AbstractIn this paper, we do automatic correctness assessment for patches generated by program repair systems. We consider the human-written patch as ground truth oracle and randomly generate tests based on it, a technique proposed by Shamshiri et al., called Random testing with Ground Truth (RGT) in this paper. We build a curated dataset of 638 patches for Defects4J generated by 14 state-of-the-art repair systems, we evaluate automated patch assessment on this dataset.
