To determine the prevalence of menstrual dysfunction (MD; i.e. oligomenorrhea or amenorrhea) and attitudes towards body weight among athletes and non‐athletes, we studied a cohort of athletes and non‐athletes, in adolescence (14–16 years) and subsequently in young adulthood (18–20 years). We further studied the differences between athletes reporting MD and eumenorrheic athletes at both time periods and identified physical and behavioural characteristicsthat might predict MD in young adulthood. Oak stress-induced protein 1 (OSIP1) is a fungal-specific protein with unknown function. By using Podospora anserina and Phanerochaete chrysosporium as models, we combined both in vivo functional approaches and biophysical characterization of OSIP1 recombinant protein. Abstract Derivatives of the new ring system pyrazolo[3,4- d ][1,2,3]triazolo[1,5- a ]pyrimidine were synthesized from the corresponding angular isomers, through a Dimroth rearrangement, in quantitative yields. Preliminary computational studies demonstrated that this class of compounds could be a good candidate as DNA intercalating agents.

Characterization of strain diversity through molecular data plays a critical role in the epidemiological understanding of this re-emergence.
