Die Nekropole von Lailly Au-delà de l’Eau (Departement Yonne) war 1927 entdeckt worden und wurde1934, 1936 und 1937 und zum letzten Mal 2012 teilweise ausgegraben. Die Untersuchung der in den Depots der Museen von Senswiederentdeckten Grabbeigaben und die systematische Aufarbeitung der Grabungsarchive der Société archéologique de Sens habenes ermöglicht, einen Teil der geschlossenen Fundkontexte zu rekonstruieren und eine Belegungschronologie dieser kleinen Nekropolevorzuschlagen, deren großes wissenschaftliches Potenzial noch in situ erforscht werden muss. Die Studie der Grabsitten hat es zudemerlaubt, die Funde in den regionalen und überregionalen soziokulturellen Kontext zu einzuordnen
The Comparison of Self-Perception of the Use of Learning Strategies in Spanish and Lithuanian Secondary Students When Learning Science

Improving students‘ learning strategies is important for them in order to learn successfully. This article compares the self-perception of the use of learning strategies in Spanish and Lithuanian secondary schools students when learning science and analyse the students understanding of these strategies to determine the sociocultural environment influence on this perception. Results emphasize the need to include support actions to improve the management of strategies in secondary school.

Motorisen oppimisen vaikeuksia kuvaava termistö on hyvin kirjavaa. Suomessa ongelmien diagnosoinnissa käytetään käsitteitä kehityksellinen koordinaatiohäiriö ja motoriikan kehityshäiriö. Lapsia, joilla on motorisen oppimisen ongelmia, arvioidaan olevan noin 5–6 prosenttia ikäluokasta; jokaisessa koululuokassa on siis keskimäärin yksi oppilas, joka tarvitsee motoriseen oppimiseensa tukea. Vaikka häiriö on yleinen, liikuntaa opettavilta opettajilta puuttuu työkalut motoriikan oppimisvaikeuden tunnistamiseen kouluympäristössä. Professional agency in a university context: Academic freedom and fetters

Professional agency is an urgent topic in academic contexts, albeit relatively unexplored, and elaborated with contradictory conclusions on its extent and characteristics. To contribute to the discussion, this multimethod study investigated professional agency within a Finnish university. We utilised questionnaire data and interviews to explore agency, as manifested in influencing at work, developing work practices, and negotiating professional identity. We found that overall, these three dimensions of agency were manifested fairly substantially, and in a similar manner among the academic staff. To analyze trunk muscle function pre- and postoperatively in patients undergoing lumbar spine fusion. Associations between changes in trunk muscle strength and disability were also studied.A total of 114 patients undergoing lumbar spine fusion participated in the study. The flexion and extension strength of the trunk was measured preoperatively and 3 months after surgery using a strain-gauge dynamometer. Abstract Background Despite the reported high prevalence of osteoporosis in the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)-population, there have been no previous studies examining dairy calcium intake and bone mineral density (BMD) in HIV-subjects. We assessed the prevalence of low BMD in HIV-infected and uninfected subjects and analyzed the effects of calcium intake, lifestyle and HIV-related risk factors on BMD. Background: According to some current guidelines, extended thromboprophylaxis after hip and knee arthroplasties is recommended. Outpatient prophylaxis with low molecular weight heparins (LMWH) is an important part of this prophylaxis, although the rates of adherence to these regimens is not known. Questions/purposes: We determined (1) the degree of nonadherence (NA) of patients with LMWH outpatient prophylaxis, and (2) whether specific independent factors explain NA. Methods: NA was determined by syringe count and by indirect and direct questions to patients. We defined six different NA indicators.
