Behind screens : challenges and opportunities of participatory online peace education in Finland

This article discusses the challenges and opportunities of participatory online teaching and learning in higher education. It analyses an online peace education course taught during the Covid-19 pandemic in three Finnish universities between 2020–2021. The course explored fundamental mediation skills and practices of positive peace through participatory methods and applied drama. We show how the online setting affected students and teachers, by focusing on the challenges and opportunities for participatory pedagogy in an online environment. Esta tesis doctoral consiste en una edición crítica de los Ethicorum Libri III (Valencia, 1816) escritos por el erudito valenciano Mariano Madramany y Calatayud, acompañada de una traducción al español y de notas explicativas. En la introducción se da detallada cuenta de la biografía de Madramany a partir de la consulta de la documentación de archivos, y se repasa el conjunto de su producción escrita, prestando especial atención a los contenidos, las estructuras y las fuentes de los Ethicorum. El doctorando establece las principales fuentes de los Ethicorum Libri III, a saber, santo Tomás de Aquino, el Catecismo Romano y la Theologia Moralis de Alfonso de Ligorio. Interaction of Dioxouranium(VI) ion with aspartate and glutamate in NaClaq at different ionic strengths

The formation of complexes species of the dioxouranium(VI) ion with aspartic and glutamic acids was studied in the pH range of 3 to 6 at 25 °C by potentiometric measurements (H+-glass electrode). Results gave evidence for the formation of the following species: (UO2)A0, (UO2)AH+, and (UO2)2A(OH)2 0 (A2- ) a glutamic or aspartic ligand). Investigations were carried out in a NaCl ionic medium at I (0.1, 0.25, 0.5, and 1.0) mol L-1. The dependence on ionic strength of the formation constants was analyzed by the specific ion interaction theory (SIT) model. This includes Macbeth refusing to shake hands with his opponent before the battle, his words to Banquo's ghost quoted in the title above, Banquo's own puzzlement at the weird sisters' placing a finger over their lips, the doctor's suspicions at Lady Macbeth's rubbing her hands and sleepwalking, as well as Malcom's request that Macduff not pull his hat over his eyes. These measurements were related to the rotational time response of the molecular gas mixture, which was measured as a function of the pump-probe time delay. The change of the polarizability anisotropy with respect to the vibrational levels was taken into account.
