Die im östlichen Teil des Pariser Beckens bekannten Siedlungen mit Palisadenanlagen der Hallstattzeit werden seit ein paar Jahren häufiger in der Kreidelandschaft der trockenen Champagne entdeckt. Der aktuelle Zuwachs des regionalen Datenbestands gibt Anlaß, diese Art von Siedlungen nun näher zu erforschen und Arbeitshypothesen zu ihrer Chronologie, Funktion und sozialer Stellung in der damaligen Zeit aufzustellen. "On-the-go" multispectral imaging system embedded on a track laying tractor to characterize the vine foliage

Mutispectral imaging systems are widely used in remote sensing for Precision Viticulture. In this work, this technique was applied in the proximal sensing context to characterize vine foliage. A mobile terrestrial experimental system is presented, composed of a GPS receiver, a multi-spectral camera acquiring visible and near infrared images, and a Greenseeker RT-100 which measures the Normalized Difference Vegetative Index (NDVI). This optical system observes vine foliage in the trellis plan, in natural sunlight. The experimental field is planted with Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier cultivars in a latin squared pattern. Darba gaitā tika ievākti un analizēti dati par maksimālajām un minimālajām diennakts gaisa temperatūrām un to amplitūdām no Ventspils, Daugavpils un Alūksnes novērojumu stacijām gada aukstajā periodā (XI-IV). Tika apskatītas sakarības starp Baltijas jūras ledus stāvokli un gaisa temperatūrām Ventspils novērojumu stacijā. Ventspils ir piekrastes novērojumu stacija, bet Daugavpils un Alūksne - kontinentālas novērojumu stacijas. Search for the Decay of the Higgs Boson to Charm Quarks with the ATLAS Experiment

A direct search for the standard model Higgs boson decaying to a pair of charm quarks is presented. Associated production of the Higgs and Z bosons, in the decay mode ZH→ℓ+ℓ−c¯c is studied. A data set with an integrated luminosity of 36.1 fb−1 of pp collisions at √s=13TeV recorded by the ATLAS experiment at the LHC is used. The H→c¯c signature is identified using charm-tagging algorithms. The observed (expected) upper limit on σ(pp→ZH)×B(H→c¯c) is 2.7 (3.9+2.1−1.1) pb at the 95% confidence level for a Higgs boson mass of 125 GeV, while the standard model value is 26 fb.
