Screening of diuretics in urine is feasible through direct injection of the samples into the chromatographic system and isocratic reversed-phase liquid chromatography (RPLC) with micellar-organic mobile phases of sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) and 1-propanol. The surfactant coverage of the chromatographic column makes the addition of organic competing amines less necessary than in conventional aqueous-organic RPLC to achieve well-shaped peaks. Also, the range of elution strengths of micellar mobile phases required to elute mixtures of hydrophobic and hydrophilic diuretics is smaller. The use of micellar liquid chromatography for the determination of diuretics in urine by direct injection of the sample into the chromatographic system is discussed. The retention of the urine matrix at the beginning of the chromatograms was observed for different sodium dodecyl sulphate (SDS) mobile phases. The eluent strengths of a hybrid SDS-methanol micellar mobile phase for several diuretics were compared and related to the stationary phase/water partition coefficient with a purely micellar mobile phase. Tämä työ tutkii kansainvälisiä ystävyyskuntia Saarijärven ja Amt Trittaun esimerkin valossa. Työn pääpaino on aktiivisten osallistujien motivaatiossa ja kokemuksissa. Tutkimusta varten jaettiin 50 kyselylomaketta sekä suomalaisille että saksalaisille, jotka osallistuivat ystävyyskaupunkitapaamiseen Saarijärvellä heinäkuussa 2009. Kyselylomakkeiden lisäksi helmikuussa 2010 haastateltiin neljää suomalaista ystävyyskunta-aktiivia, jotka valittiin haastatteluun kyselylomakkeiden perusteella. Improving students‘ learning strategies is important for them in order to learn successfully. This article compares the self-perception of the use of learning strategies in Spanish and Lithuanian secondary schools students when learning science and analyse the students understanding of these strategies to determine the sociocultural environment influence on this perception. Results emphasize the need to include support actions to improve the management of strategies in secondary school.

Tämän laadullisen tutkielman tarkoituksena oli tutkia ruotsin ja englannin välisen koodinvaihdon funktioita suomenruotsalaisessa nuorille suunnatussa radio-ohjelmassa. Tutkielman tavoitteena oli vastata seuraavaan tutkimuskysymykseen: mitä kommunikatiivisia funktioita ruotsin ja englannin välisellä koodinvaihdolla on suomenruotsalaisessa Succémorgon-radio-ohjelmassa? Tutkimusmateriaali koostui tutkittavana olleen radio-ohjelman viidestä satunnaisesti valitusta podcast-jaksosta huhtikuun ja elokuun väliseltä ajalta vuodelta 2015. Bakalaura darbs – ‘’Melleņu rametu struktūras raksturojums dažādās mežaudzēs’’ izstrādāts laika posmā no 2014. gada augusta līdz 2016. gada maijam Latvijas Universitātes, Bioloģijas fakultātes, Botānikas un ekoloģijas katedrā un Latvijas Valsts mežzinātnes institūtā ‘’Silava’’. Darbā izmantoti Lindas Robaltes maģistra darba laikā ievāktie melleņu rametu struktūru dati (vecums, diametrs un augstums) (Robalte 2014). Par pētījuma vietu izvēlētas divas dažādas teritorijas – dabas liegums ‘’Gruzdovas meži’’ vecāko apzināto egļu dēļ (~ 273 gadi) un Slīteres nacionālā parka teritorija, jo arī tajā koki sasnieguši līdzīgu vecumu, bet tajā ir tipiskāki augšanas apstākļi mellenēm.
