In the course of its history, the Musee des Ursulines, at Macon, collected about 10 bronze figurines, some of them found as early as the mid-17th c. This article describes this largely unpublished collection and its scientific implications. Among the new data appears a votive bronze statuette, of italic type, found locally and datable to the Vth-IVth c. BC.

The ever-evolving technological landscape is challenging adults' problem-solving skills. The central goal of higher education (HE) is to guarantee a high level of know-how, which is in line with the changing demands of technology at work and in everyday life. This study builds on European data from the Programme for the International Assessment of Adult Competencies (PIAAC) to understand adults' (N = 53,407) skills for solving problems in technology-rich environments. Tämän artikkelin tavoitteena on tarkastella yhteyttä opettajien (N = 7) toiminnan ja heidän kolmasluokkalaistensa (N = 86) ongelmanratkaisusuoritusten välillä Neliönjako-tehtävässä. Tutkimusaineistona käytettiin oppilaiden ratkaisuja, oppitunneista nauhoitettuja videoita sekä opettajien tuntisuunnitelmia. Opettajien toimintaa analysoitiin ongelmanratkaisutunnin vaiheiden (johdatteluvaihe, tutkimisvaihe ja yhteenvetovaihe) avulla. Oppilaiden ratkaisut luokiteltiin, ja heidän suorituksiaan verrattiin eri luokissa. Tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli selvittää, millä tasolla korkeakoulututkintoa suorittavien opiskelijoiden geneeriset taidot ovat, mitkä tekijät ovat yhteydessä geneeristen taitojen tasoon ja missä määrin geneeriset taidot kehittyvät korkeakouluopintojen aikana. Tutkimuksessa arvioitavia geneerisiä taitoja olivat analyyttinen päättely ja arviointi, ongelmanratkaisu, argumentatiivinen kirjoittaminen sekä kielen hallinta. Tutkimukseen osallistui yliopistojen alemman korkeakoulututkinnon ja ammattikorkeakoulututkinnon alku- ja loppuvaiheen opiskelijoita (n = 2402) ammattikorkeakouluista (n = 7) ja yliopistoista (n = 11). Maģistra darbs ir veltīts antiutopijas žanra raksturojumu izpētei un analīzei mūsdienu krievu un itāļu literatūrā. Pētījuma objekts ir itāļu un krievu 20. gs. beigu un 21. gs. sākuma antiutopijas. Pētījuma priekšmets ir A. Kurčatkina garstāsts “Ekstrēmisma piezīmes” un V. Makaņina garstāsts “Laz”, kā arī L. Pugno “Sirēne”. Pētījuma uzmanības centrā ir antiutopijas žanra evolūcija pasaules literatūras kontekstā, akcentējot antiutopiskās domas un vēsturisko notikumu ietekmi. A-ring annulated heterocycles, the isoxazole 6, the pyrazoles 8 and the pyrimidines 9 are prepared starting from 2-hydroxymethylene canrenone 1. Binding studies were carried out with the compounds 1 and 6-8 using estrogen, progesterone, androgen, gluco- and mineralocorticoid receptors as well as the serum proteins SHBG and CBG: the substances were inactive on the receptor level. 1, 7 and 8a show weak binding affinity to CBG.
Tandem Reactions of 1,2,4-Oxadiazoles with Allylamines

A reaction of 3-chloro-1,2,4-oxadiazoles with allylamine and diallylamine has been investigated. 3,3a,4,5-Tetrahydroisoxazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidines are produced through a tandem ANRORC/[3 + 2]cycloaddition pathway consisting of the addition of allylamine to the 1,2,4-oxadiazole, followed by ring opening, nitrone formation, and finally cycloaddition. 3-N-Allylamino-1,2,4-oxadiazoles were also obtained as minor products through a classical SNAr. Conversely, a reaction with diallylamine produces 3-N,N-diallylamino-1,2,4-oxadiazole and imidazoline through tandem SNAr/aziridination and nucleophilic ring opening.
