[EN] Moisture content is a reference parameter for dried food because the growth of most microorganisms is inhibited below certain water activity levels. In addition, it has a determining influence on the evolution of important parameters, such as color and flavor, and on other properties and deterioration reactions, such as texture, oxidation processes and nutritional value. During the storage of some dried fruits, moisture is produced due to Maillard reactions and exchanged with the surrounding environment through the packaging. Echinostoma caproni (Trematoda: Echinostomatidae) is an intestinal trematode that has been used as experimental model to investigate the factors determining the expulsion of intestinal helminths. We analyze the changes in the protein expression and glycosylation induced by E. caproni in Wistar rat, a host of low compatibility in which the parasites are rapidly rejected. International audience; In this works, we have explored a new method for a green synthesis of poly(ethylglyoxylate) (PEtG). This method consists on using a montmorillonite clay called Maghnite-H+ as an eco-catalyst to replace triethylamine which is toxic. Cationic polymerization experiments are performed in bulk conditions at three temperatures (-40 degrees C, 25 degrees C, 80 degrees C) and in THF solutions at room temperature (25 degrees C). At 25 degrees C, an optimum ratio of 5 wt% of catalyst leads to molar masses up to 22000 g/mol in THF solutions. Desde las observaciones y entrevistas realizadas en una investigación, mostraremos como se desarrollan las sesiones de trabajo en dos aulas distintas de Educación Primaria e Infantil, así como las valoraciones que la comunidad educativa posee sobre esta nueva estrategia y sus repercusiones en el contexto escolar.

Digital Storytelling Project as a Way to Engage Students in Twenty-First Century Skills Learning

[EN] This paper is focused on the implications of a collaborative digital storytelling project on student engagement in the higher education context. The empirical study is conducted with an interdisciplinary group of bachelor students in a Nordic University (N = 22) and a university in Southern Europe (N = 21), and the data are collected through an online student survey. The results demonstrate that the digital storytelling project supported students’ behavioral, emotional, and cognitive engagement. In dieser Untersuchung wurde der Einflus einer 3monatigen ACE-Hemmer-Therapie mit Cilazapril (2,5–5 mg) bei 13 Patienten mit chronischer Aortenklappeninsuffizienz spiroergometrisch und echokardiographisch untersucht. Nach 3monatiger Therapie sanken der linksventrikulare enddiastolische Diameter-Index von 3,5 auf 3,1 cm/m2 (p = 0,005), der linksventrikulare endsystolische Diameter-Index von 2,3 auf 2,0 cm/m2 (p = 0,005). Der Wallstress reduzierte sich von 174 auf 150 dyn/cm2 (p = 0,01). Die linksventrikulare Muskelmasse nahm um 14% ab, von anfangs 570 g (= 295 g/m2) auf 488 g (= 253 g/m2) (p < 0,05).
