The microcybergames and the learning of the Social Sciences: The java world

The possibilities and didactic limitations of the computer games stand out. The utility of the microcybergames in the educative surrounings of Internet is put of relief. In Java, the designs of the microcybergames are studied, emphasizing the advantages of predesigned applet over the ones generated by some author created tools. A selection of flexible and gratuitous applet with possible didactic use is made. Examples of applications of these applets in proper contents of Social Sciences in the no university curricula are incorporated.

During 2009/2010, the current research was conducted with the aim of analysing student and teaching staff on regarding student participation in assessment. A content analysis of 76 subject outlines was carried out, and then 40 member of the teaching staff and 614 university students were surveyed. Este trabajo ofrece un análisis histórico sobre los problemas que tuvo que resolver la ciencia hasta llegar a la construcción de los conceptos macroscópicos de sustancia y compuesto químico en el contexto de la teoría daltoniana. Por otra parte, en él se muestran algunas de las dificultades de comprensión que estos conceptos ofrecen a los estudiantes. En este trabajo se revisan las principales características cognitivas y metacognitivas de los estudiantes con dificultades de aprendizaje en matemáticas, que son causa de bajo rendimiento en este área para un número muy importante de estudiantes. Junto a cada una de estas características se presenta una propuesta de material educativo en soporte digital adecuada para el entrenamiento de estos procesos, y con ello del rendimiento matemático de estos estudiantes.
