El presente artículo describe y analiza la evolución histórica de los Estudios de Interpretación, que pasan de ser una entidad independiente de miras estrechas e impulsada por consideraciones profesionales a configurarse como una disciplina académica más amplia, que aborda todo tipo de interpretación en el ámbito de los Estudios de Traducción. En el texto se explican sus limitaciones y puntos débiles en términos de tamaño, factores infraestructurales y humanos, al tiempo que se trata el efecto de su integración en el marco de los Estudios de Traducción. Student grades are traditionally used to evaluate academic achievement in higher education. A review of previous research indicates a relatively clear tendency to adopt either an individual or contextual approach in exploring this subject. The present study represents an attempt to simultaneously examine effects of individual variables and learning environment on academic achievements as measured in grades. Pašuztvertā intelekta saistība ar akadēmisko pašefektivitāti un akadēmiskajiem sasniegumiem vispārizglītojošo skolu jauniešiem

Pētījuma mērķis bija izpētīt saistību starp pašuztverto intelektu, akadēmisko pašefektivitāti un akadēmiskajiem sasniegumiem vispārizglītojošo skolu jauniešiem, kā arī veikt atšķirību izpēti skolēnu izlases apakšgrupās ar atšķirīgiem pašuztvertā intelekta domāšanas veidiem. Pētījuma izlasi veido 165 jaunieši vecumā no 15 līdz 19 gadiem (M = 16,75, SD = 0,90), no tiem 80 (48,50%) meitenes un 85 (51,50%) zēni, kas mācās 10.-12. klasē piecās vidusskolās. Aim: Recent studies have reported a correlation between motor skills and school performance, which is different according to the type of motor ability or academic subject examined (Fernandes et al, 2016; Bellafiore et al., 2016). The aim of this study was to analyze the relationship between motor timing, reaction time and achievements in mathematics and Italian in sedentary and active children. Aims: The aim of this research was to compare the levels of perceived health literacy among adolescents who do or do not participate in sports club activities. Organized sport club activities reach a high proportion of adolescents, and have the potential to contribute to the development of their health literacy. On the basis of two case studies of artisans from the Finnish countryside, this paper presents five major factors that affected normal godparent relations. It argues that in some cases (especially among the highest echelons of the local society) godparenting strategies aiming at social advancement, which have received much attention in the research, may have had some significance, but for the majority of the population locality, occupation, social class and kinship were more important factors. In fact, most of these were highly intertwined in the pre-modern Finnish society of estates, and this is very visible in godparent networks. Vecāku audzināšanas stila un skolēna mācību motivācijas saistība ar mācību sasniegumiem

Bakalaura darba mērķis ir noskaidrot, vai pastāv saistība starp mātes un tēva audzināšanas stilu un bērna mācību motivāciju un mācību sasniegumiem. Pamatojoties uz analizētajiem pētījumiem, bakalaura darbā tiek pārbaudīts, vai pastāv saistība starp autoritatīvo, autoritāro un visatļaujošo audzināšanas stilu un bērna mācību sasniegumiem, mācību motivāciju. Bakalaura darba ietvaros tika aptaujāti 73 skolēni vecumā no 13 – 16 gadiem. Empīriskajā daļā tika izmantotas Vecāku autoritātes aptauja, Iekšējās motivācijas aptauja. Lai konstatētu mācību sasniegumus, respondenti tika lūgti norādīt vidējo vērtējumu visos mācību priekšmetos kopā, kā arī matemātikā un latviešu valodā atsevišķi par iepriekš…
