In order to study the processes underlying its ability to adapt to the soil environment, whole-genome arrays were used to analyse transcriptome modifications 15 minutes, 30 minutes and 18 h after inoculation of L. monocytogenes EGD-e in soil extracts. Growth was observed within the first day of incubation and large numbers were still detected in soil extract and soil microcosms one year after the start of the experiment. Etyczny wymiar edukacji : zobowiązanie wspólnoty czy balast przeszłości?

Punktem wyjścia tekstu jest teza, że o edukacji, która jest przedmiotem pedagogiki, jej profesjonalnych badań i analiz, często się dzisiaj mówi i pisze w sposób potoczny, zdroworozsądkowy. To znacznie utrudnia debatę, stawianie i rozwiązywanie problemów związanych z edukacją. W tekście zaprezentowano typy wiedzy potocznej, jej funkcje, ograniczenia. Pokazano różne ujęcia edukacji - adaptacyjne, emancypacyjne, pajdocentryczne, progresywistyczne. Pokazano, że sposób stawiania problemów edukacji zależy od przyjętej koncepcji. Zaproponowano przezwyciężenie tego zdroworozsądkowego edukacyjnego dyskursu przez dyskurs profesjonalny, oparty na pedagogicznej kulturze uznania.

Isometric force-time parameters in monitoring of strength training : with special reference to acute responses to different loading resistances

The aim of the present series of studies was to investigate acute neuromuscular responses to (1) different strength training loadings and using (2) different external resistances. In addition, chronic adaptations and dynamic performances were compared to (3) the changes in isometric force-time parameters at the group level, and to (4) the individual timing of the improvement in the rate of force development (RFD) due to hypertrophic or maximum strength followed by power strength training periods. The latter one was achieved by systematic, repeated monitoring. Sixty-nine physically active men (20-35 yrs), but not experienced in resistance training, took part in the present series of studies.…
