Se evalúa el nivel de satisfacción en turistas y visitantes de Canet d’en Berenguer, Cullera y Oliva, municipios pertenecientes a la provincia de Valencia en la Comunidad Valenciana, España, mediante una encuesta de satisfacción que se aplicó a 669 individuos. También, de forma abreviada, se presenta la oferta turística de estos destinos turísticos, basados en datos del año 2017, donde se evidencia preferencia por los destinos turísticos de playa, con una marcada presencia de turistas nacionales que desarrollan actividades familiares. Transition aux normes comptables IAS/IFRS, discipline de marché et adéquation des fonds propres aux risques dans l'industrie bancaire européenne

This study tests the hypothesis that the mandatory IAS/IFRS adoption leads banks to operate with a higher capital buffer, due to a strengthening of the efficacy of market discipline. For a sample of European banks, we find evidence consistent with the formulated hypothesis. The results contribute to extend to banks the flourishing empirical literature dealing with the economic consequences of the IAS/IFRS mandatory adoption and tend to dampen the recent critics expressed against the use of the IAS/IFRS accounting standards in the banking industry.

The principal purpose of this paper is to determine the incidence of the corporate income taxes which explains directly or indirectly (with an incidence on the traditional variables of the determination of capital structures) the global evolution of capital structures of french firms over the period 1988 and 1998. We provide too the possible reason which justifies why some firms have an evolution of capital structure in the opposite direction or in attenuated way in comparison with the general tendency.
Psychophysical burden and lack of support : Reasons for care workers’ intentions to leave their work in the Nordic countries

Long-term care of older adults is currently suffering from a shortage of trained personnel and high turnover rates. Care work is poorly paid, demanding, increasingly time-bound and both mentally and physically burdensome. In this study, we examined the individual, organisational and economic factors that predict professional care workers’ intentions to leave their current employment, using the NORDCARE survey data (2015, N = 3801) collected in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. A sensemaking approach to a discursive ethical skill in healthcare management: the case of an oncopaediatric service

International audience; This study uses the case of an oncological paediatric service to discuss sensemaking and discourse ethics in the context of caregiving, building ethical competence to provide the best care possible to children. The patients and their families live in paediatric care, some for several years. At length, an intense relationship may develop between the medical staff and patients' family members, albeit at times a difficult relationship. Still, interviews conducted indicated that when caregivers provided the best care possible to these patients, even in this harsh environment, an ethics of sensitivity made a positive difference both for the patients and the medical staff.…
Activity-based Management in France: A focus on the information systems department of a bank

International audience; The aim of the paper is to describe the Activity-based Costing and Management methods applied in France. For that purpose, we use a literature review and a case study. In a first time, we analyse the origins of the methods and their diffusion. Then we present the French situation. Finally, we propose a case study that takes place in a French bank. Our paper shows that the ABC and ABM methods are as developed in France as in the Anglo-Saxon countries and that the methods are strategically oriented.
