Processus d'évaluation de l'extension de marque par le consommateur : conception et validation d'un modèle de décomposition

International audience; L'objectif de cet article est de montrer qu'il existe, au-delà du transfert de valeur de la marque, un transfert de valeur dû au produit en extension dans l'évaluation de l'extension de marque. Sur la base de la confrontation de trois champs de recherche rarement associés et complémentaires, nous proposerons le recours à deux déterminants de l'évaluation de l'extension de marque : le fit association et le fit contexte. Le transport narratif au coeur de l'expérience d'un dispositif transmédia

The aim of this paper is to describe how consumers experience transmedia devices. Thanks to transmedia major components (narrative universe; platforms and rabbit holes; interactivity; and temporality), once it adheres to it, the user of a transmedia devices lives an experience characterized by participation, immersion and commitment, and, at the end, it leads him to be attached to the object of narration. These results guide to propose a model which emphasizes the central place of narrative transportation in the context of fictional universes presented via transmedia strategy.

Taking a Break from News : A Five-nation Study of News Avoidance in the Digital Era

This article comparatively examines news avoidance in a rapidly changing media environment. We utilize findings from a large dataset of 488 in-depth interviews with media consumers, conducted in Argentina, Finland, Israel, Japan, and the US. We aim to make a contribution to the study of news avoidance by providing a comprehensive and nuanced understanding of the drivers, practices, and patterns of news avoidance as they occur in and are shaped by a variety of national contexts. Playful approaches to news engagement

From crossword puzzles and quizzes to more complex gamification strategies and serious newsgames, legacy media has long explored ways to deploy playful approaches to deliver their content and engage with the audience. We examine how news and games fit together when news organizations, game creators and news audiences welcome gameful forms of communication and participation. Moreover, we reflect on the theoretical and empirical significance of merging news with games as a way to reformulate normative assumptions, production practices and consumption patterns. As a result, the boundaries between journalism and game’s logics start to erode, and they begin to find new ways of converging.

Modelling Quoting in Newswriting : A Framework for Studies on the Production of News

The Mediated Social Communication (MSC) approach considers mass media a venue for opposing and complementary societal groups to publicly negotiate socially relevant topics. This negotiation is conducted through representatives of these groups and mediated by journalists. Inspired by the MSC approach, this paper presents an empirically grounded model that structures the mediating process through the process of quoting. L'interaction lieu - objet comme conceptualisation de l'expérience vécue : test d'un modèle intégrateur

L'expérience vécue par le consommateur fait l'objet de conceptualisations réductrices et normatives en marketing. Cet article défend une conceptualisation plus étoffée de l'expérience vécue fondée sur une interaction lieu-objet et s'appuyant sur le concept de valeur. Une analyse empirique dans le domaine du spectacle vivant est menée en vue de comparer des modélisations concurrentes de l'expérience vécue. Les résultats mettent en avant l'importance du rôle joué par le lieu de consommation comme cadre de l'expérience vécue et confirment son influence indirecte sur la valeur globale perçue. Enfin, ils permettent une validation des différents outils destinés à opérationnaliser ce modèle.
