 ; Les formations ligneuses à arganiers (arganeraies) occupent environ 800 000 hectares au sud-ouest du Maroc. Dans ces zones semi-arides et arides, 1,3 million de personnes sont concernées par l’exploitation de systèmes agroforestiers traditionnels reposant sur l’arganier, arbre multi-usage. Mais en raison d’une surexploitation, ce milieu fragile est menacé. Depuis une quinzaine d’années, des efforts sont déployés pour définir les conditions d’un développement véritablement durable. Consumer Preference Heterogeneity Evaluation in Fruit and Vegetable Purchasing Decisions Using the Best–Worst Approach

This study assesses consumer preferences during fruit and vegetable (FV) sales, considering the sociodemographic variables of individuals together with their choice of point of purchase. A choice experiment was conducted in two metropolitan areas in Northwest Italy. The majority of Italian production of loquat (Eriobotrya japonica) derives from the Palermo province, along the northern Sicilian coast. However, this area is characterized by family orchards, traditional cultural techniques, and inadequate commercial organization. These appear to affect negatively the production costs and reduce the farmers’ income, decreasing the competitiveness of Sicilian loquat orchards. Differential responses of bacterial and archaeal groups at high taxonomical ranks to soil management

Little is known about abundances of the major bacterial taxa in agricultural soils and how they are affected by fertilization or other agricultural practices. Our aim was to determine the abundance and relative distribution of several bacterial phyla and one class, as well as the archaeal and crenarchaeal communities, and how they were affected by different fertilization regimes to examine whether specific responses of microorganisms could be identified at these high taxonomic ranks. Apple tree bloom onset in Germany has advanced by 2 days/decade in 1951-2014 and by 3 days/decade in 1988-2014, behaving similarly in respect to its evolution since 1951 and its sensitivity to temperature to other species’ phenological spring phases. The evolution however was not linear; by conducting a split moving-window dissimilarity analysis (SMWDA) we were able to detect the “break-period” 1987-1989 which coincides with a breakpoint that has been identified in the phases of the North Atlantic Oscillation (NAO).
