Pētījumi par rauga Ogataea polymorpha rezistenci pret benzalkonija hlorīdu atkarībā no kultūras fizioloģiskā stāvokļa

Benzalkonija hlorīds (BAC) ir sastopams dažādos ikdienā lietojamos produktos. Šis savienojums regulāri nonāk tieši notekūdeņos. Zināms, ka BAC ir toksisks dažādiem mikroorganismiem. Tomēr ir mikroorganismi, kuriem ir novērota rezistence un spēja degradēt BAC. Starp potenciālajiem BAC degradētājiem ir arī raugi. Ogataea polymorpha jau ir pierādījusi spējas degradēt tādas toksiskas vielas, kā formaldehīds, kā arī spēju sadarboties ar bioloģiskajām notekūdeņu attīrīšanas iekārtas dūņām. In order to investigate the pharmacological screening of a number of pyran-4-ones their synthesis by cyclization with sulphuric acid of the corresponding 1,3,5-triketones has been carried out with high yields. In the course of preparation of the latter the reaction of 2-acetyltetralone with some esters of benzoic acid derivatives has been studied and in particular, for a number of them, an interesting nucleophilic substitution of a chlorine atom with an alkoxy group on a benzenic nucleus has been evidenced.

The purpose of this review is to provide a detailed and updated description of the FinnTwin16 (FT16) study and its future directions. The Finnish Twin Cohort comprises three different cohorts: the Older Twin Cohort established in the 1970s and the FinnTwin12 and FT16 initiated in the 1990s. FT16 was initiated in 1991 to identify the genetic and environmental precursors of alcoholism, but later the scope of the project expanded to studying the determinants of various health-related behaviors and diseases in different stages of life. Conformations and Energetics of Sulfur and Selenium Diimides

The geometries and energetics of different conformations of sulfur and selenium diimides E(NR) 2 (E = S, Se; R = H, Me, 'Bu, C 6 H 3 Me 2 -2,6, SiMe 3 ) have been studied by using various ab initio and DFT molecular orbital techniques. The syn,syn conformation is found to be most stable for parent E(NH) 2 , but in general, the preferred molecular conformation for substituted chalcogen diimides is syn,anti. In the case of E(NH) 2 the present calculations further confirm that syn,syn and syn,anti conformations lie energetically close to each other.
