Bakalaura darba „Tulkošanas stratēģiju lietojums Mārjas Kangro romāna „Stikla bērns” latviskajā tulkojumā” mērķis ir analizēt romāna tulkošanas gaitā, tulkojot no igauņu valodas latviešu valodā, izmantotās tulkošanas stratēģijas un saprast, kādas stratēģijas un kāpēc ir lietotas visbiežāk. Darba teorētiskajā daļā ir sniegts pārskats par igauņu daiļliteratūras tulkošanu latviešu valodā un latviešu daiļliteratūras tulkošanu igauņu valodā. Subjective health literacy among school-aged children

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to explore Finnish adolescents’ subjective health literacy (HL) in association to school achievement, learning difficulties, educational aspirations, and family affluence. Design/methodology/approach Nationally representative data were collected in Finland as a part of the international Health Behaviour in School-aged Children study. The respondents consisted in total of 3,833 adolescents (7th and 9th graders) from 359 schools. Laiduntajat vaikuttavat kasvillisuuteen useilla sekä suorilla että epäsuorilla mekanismeilla, joista epäsuorat voivat olla ekosysteemiprosessien kannalta tärkeämpiä. Vähätuottoisella tundralla kasvinsyöjien vaikutuksen kasvillisuuteen tiedetään olevan merkittävä, mutta suuri osa tutkimuksesta on keskittynyt laiduntajien ravintokasveihin. Tundralla sammalet muodostavat suuren osan kasviyhteisöjen biomassasta ja monimuotoisuudesta, ja niiden on havaittu toimivan laiduntajien vaikutusten välittäjinä muuhun kasvillisuuteen ja maaperään. The paper presents a microsimulation approach for assessing the safety performance of turbo-roundabouts where Cooperative Autonomous Vehicles “CAVs” have been introduced into the traffic mix alongside conventional vehicles “CVs”. Based on the analysis of vehicle trajectories from VISSIM and subsequent analysis of traffic conflicts through the Surrogate Safety Assessment Model (SSAM), the research aims to evaluate the safety benefits of turbo-roundabouts where the lanes are physically separated by raised curbs, compared to roundabouts without such curbs. Two-particle transverse momentum differential correlators, recently measured in Pb--Pb collisions at energies available at the CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC), provide an additional tool to gain insights into particle production mechanisms and infer transport properties, such as the ratio of shear viscosity to entropy density, of the medium created in Pb-Pb collisions. The longitudinal long-range correlations and the large azimuthal anisotropy measured at low transverse momenta in small collision systems, namely pp and p-Pb, at LHC energies resemble manifestations of collective behaviour. Duże nasycenie terminologią, użycie wyrażeń nominalnych i inne charakterystyczne dla języka fachowego cechy sprawiają, że jest odbierany jako bardziej konkretny, precyzyjny i ekonomiczny. W rozdziale podjęto próbę kompaktowej prezentacji specyfiki składni niemieckojęzycznych tekstów fachowych i najważniejszych tendencji w niej obserwowanych.
