Celem niniejszego badania jest sprawdzenie mediacyjnej roli nadziei podstawowej w związku postaw wobec religii z dobrostanem psychicznym w próbie anglikanów. Ponieważ wcześniejsze badania wskazywały na bliskie związki między religijnością, nadzieją i dobrostanem, powyższe założenie jest wysoce prawdopodobne. W badaniu wzięło udział 176 osób (89 kobiet i 87 mężczyzn). Wszyscy byli członkami Kościoła anglikańskiego i wypełnili trzy kwestionariusze: Skalę Przekonań Postkrytycznych (PCBS), Skalę Dobrostanu Psychicznego (PWB) oraz Inwentarz Podstawowej Nadziei (BHI-12). This study examines under-18 marriage in urban Tanzania from an ethnographic perspective. Due to poverty and high unemployment, some girls aspire to early marriage. Two pathways to early marriage are identified: first, poverty and gendered economic disparities motivate girls to begin transactional sexual activity at an early age, leading parents to favour early marriage as a risk-reduction measure. Second, educational opportunities are often closed off to girls before marriage, as a result of which early marriage becomes the only culturally approved pathway that allows girls to present themselves to others as a self-sufficient agent. The Role of Family on Pathways to Acquiring Early Reading Skills In Lusaka’s Low-Income Communities

This paper reports findings from the study that examined the role of family in children’s acquisition of early reading skills. We recruited 72 first-grade learners and their parents from low-income Zambian families for the study. In response to a home literacy questionnaire, parents reported on their reading attitudes and family literacy environment. Children’s early reading skills were assessed using two early reading tests (orthographic awareness and decoding competence), both conducted at two different points during the year. El objetivo de este trabajo ha sido conocer el pensamiento de los alumnos sobre la Educacion Fisica y sus profesores. Para ello, 788 estudiantes de Educacion Secundaria Obligatoria (337 alumnos y 451 alumnas) han respondido a un cuestionario abierto en el que se les preguntaba que es lo que mas y lo que menos les gusta de EF, como se imaginan a su profesor/a ideal de EF, y las tres caracteristicas mas importantes que deberia tener su profesor o profesora de EF. Because children and adolescents are vulnerable to developing obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), classroom teachers play an important role in the early identification and intervention in students with OCD.
