Sakarā ar nezāļu monitoringā novēroto vējauzas (Avena fatua L.) plašo izplatību Latvijas kultūraugu sējumos un stādījumos, nepieciešamas īpašas metodes un saimniekošanas paņēmieni, lai ierobežotu šīs nezāles savairošanos. Vējauza ir viengadīgs, sējas auzai līdzīgs graudzāļu dzimtas augs, kas vairojas ar sēklām. Sēklām ir fizioloģiski (miera periods, pagarināts dīgšanas periods) un strukturāli (hidrofīls akots) pielāgojumi, kas palīdz augam ātri un efektīvi izplatīties un konkurēt ar kutūraugiem. Tra i cereali minori l’avena ((Avena sativa L.) costituisce una importante risorsa agronomica e economica per gli areali mediterranei. Infatti, questa specie è caratterizzata da una maggiore rusticità rispetto a cereali maggiori come il grano duro, che le permettono di ben adattarsi ad ambienti di coltivazione collinari marginali delle aree meridionali. Yeasts involved in the spontaneous fermentation of traditional beverages like chicha (indigenous Andean beer) may have the potential to be used as starter cultures to improve the quality and microbiological safety of these products, but also as non-conventional alternatives to other food alcoholic fermentations. In this research, we isolated, identified and characterised yeast strains from four Ecuadorian chichas made by using four different raw materials: rice (RC), oat (OC), grape (GC) and a mixture of seven corn varieties (yamor, YC). Previous theoretical and empirical evidence suggests that species composition within trophic levels may profoundly affect the response of trophic-level biomasses to enhanced basal resources. To test whether species composition of microbivorous nematodes has such an effect in microbial-based soil food webs, I created three microcosm food webs, consisting of bacteria, fungi, bacterial-feeding nematodes (Acrobeloides tricornus, Caenorhabditis elegans), fungal-feeding nematodes (Aphelenchus avenae, Aphelenchoides sp.) and a predatory nematode (Prionchulus punctatus). L’annata agraria 2015-2016, caratterizzata da condizioni climatiche abbastanza favorevoli per i cereali autunno-vernini, ha determinato produzioni di granella interessanti in tutta la Penisola, in particolare al Nord. Genziana si conferma la varietà adatta a tutti gli areali.
