Security Controls for Smart Buildings with Shared Space

In this paper we consider cyber security requirements of the smart buildings. We identify cyber risks, threats, attack scenarios, security objectives and related security controls. The work was done as a part of a smart building design and construction work. From the controls identified w e concluded security practices for engineering-in smart buildings security. The paper provides an idea toward which system security engineers can strive in the basic design and implementation of the most critical components of the smart buildings. The Friedreich's Ataxia protein frataxin modulates DNA base excision repair in prokaryotes and mammals

DNA-repair mechanisms enable cells to maintain their genetic information by protecting it from mutations that may cause malignant growth. Recent evidence suggests that specific DNA-repair enzymes contain ISCs (iron–sulfur clusters). The nuclearencoded protein frataxin is essential for the mitochondrial biosynthesis of ISCs. Frataxin deficiency causes a neurodegenerative disorder named Friedreich's ataxia in humans. Various types of cancer occurring at young age are associated with this disease, and hence with frataxin deficiency. Higher-order polarizations on the Virasoro group and anomalies

In a previous paper the authors showed that the space of (first order) polarized functions on the Virasoro group is not, in general, irreducible. The full reduction was explicitly achieved by taking the orbit of the enveloping algebra through the vacuum. This additional step provided the proper quantization in the “strong-coupling” domain 0<c≦1. In this paper we introduce the concept of “higher order polarization” as a generalization of that of polarization. We prove that the imposing of the additional (higher-order) polarization conditions is equivalent to the taking of the above-mentioned orbit. Il contributo presenta le attività analitiche che hanno supportato l’elaborazione del progetto di restauro della facciata barocca del palazzo Bertini a Ragusa, inserito nella lista del Patrimonio Mondiale dell’Umanità UNESCO, e le fasi del cantiere di restauro, con particolare riguardo alle tecniche di pulitura, consolidamento e reintegrazione delle superfici architettoniche. The goal of the article is to show, from an insightful point of view terno to Italian Thought, the speci city of Italian thought through a genealogical approach. In the first paragraph we try to de ne that what is Italian Thought through the use of the geo- I know approx. The second paragraph takes into consideration the theses presented from Esposito in Living Thought, trying to outline the characteristics of the long genealogy. The third and last paragraph relates the short genealogies proposed by Negri and Gentili.
The Genesis of the Italian School of Algebraic Geometry Through the Correspondence Between Luigi Cremona and Some of His Students

Luigi Cremona is considered the founder of the Italian school of algebraic geometry. He formed a group of students of great value, very active in scientific research. Examining the letters from Eugenio Bertini, Ettore Caporali, and Riccardo De Paolis to Cremona preserved in the archive of the Istituto Mazziniano in Genoa, we have reconstructed their biographies, careers, studies, and relationships with their teacher. They had the merit of cultivating the scientific innovations of the period and passing them on to the subsequent generations.
Un'ipotesi sull'origine del non usus

The author reproposes a conjecture of Giuseppe Grosso about the origin of the iura praediorum rusticorum’s loss by non-use and tries to show its ground in the sources. According to such a view the oldest rustic servitudes (iter, actus, via, aquae ductus) ended in ancient roman law, if the owner of the dominant estate abstained from exercising them for two years, by an usucapio in favour of the servient owner. Only when these rights – originally conceived as property’s forms – were regarded as iura in re aliena their non-use became an autonomous method of extinction and was extended to the other rustic servitudes and to the usufruct.

Pētījuma mērķis ir atklāt tulkotāja interpretācijas identitāti mākslas, vēsturiskās un kultūras vērtības aspektā. Darbs strukturēts trīs nodaļās.
