The purpose of this review is to provide a detailed and updated description of the FinnTwin16 (FT16) study and its future directions. The Finnish Twin Cohort comprises three different cohorts: the Older Twin Cohort established in the 1970s and the FinnTwin12 and FT16 initiated in the 1990s. FT16 was initiated in 1991 to identify the genetic and environmental precursors of alcoholism, but later the scope of the project expanded to studying the determinants of various health-related behaviors and diseases in different stages of life. Teknologian vaikuttavuutta painonhallintaan on tutkittu paljon, mutta tulokset ovat olleet ristiriitaisia (Hutchesson ym. 2015). Painonpudotustutkimuksissa tulosmuuttujina on yleensä ollut kehon massa tai painoindeksi. Nämä eivät kuitenkaan erottele lihaksiin liittyvää massaa rasvaan liittyvästä massasta. Halloysite Nanotubes Coated by Chitosan for the Controlled Release of Khellin

In this work, we have developed a novel strategy to prepare hybrid nanostructures with controlled release properties towards khellin by exploiting the electrostatic interactions between chitosan and halloysite nanotubes (HNT). Firstly, khellin was loaded into the HNT lumen by the vacuum-assisted procedure. The drug confinement within the halloysite cavity has been proved by water contact angle experiments on the HNT/khellin tablets. Tutkielmassa tarkastellaan ensin Riemannin integraalia ja sen ongelmia rajankäyntitilanteissa. Suurin ongelma rajankäynnissä on, että Riemannintegraalien jonon raja-arvo ei välttämättä aina ole sama kuin rajafunktion Riemann-integraali. Lisäksi todetaan, että Riemann-integroituvien funktioiden joukko on melko pieni. Seuraavana esitellään porrasfunktioiden integraali ominaisuuksineen.
