Cold Spray (CS) has been widely investigated owing to its high deposition efficiency and retention of the properties of starting materials. Thus, this process has shown obvious advantages over the fabrication of different copper-based deposits and its alloys over other techniques, such as electroplating, Laser Cladding or thermal spraying. As one of the main copper alloys, brass is implanted in the fields of architecture or industry. Abstract Offshore production system is predicted to increase in the near future driven by the lack of coastal space and lower environmental impacts. The aim of this paper has been to evaluate the economic performance of offshore production system respect to inshore one, by comparing net present value (NPV), discounted payback time (DPBT) and internal rate of return (IRR) of two Italian mariculture farms that produce European sea bass. Les paradoxes de l'emploi féminin sur le pourtour méditérranéen

Cette invitation originale à un voyage sur le pourtour de la Méditerranée permet de mieux appréhender les raisons de la colère des jeunes. L'analyse comparative dans quatorze pays révèle les paradoxes de l'emploi féminin dans des contextes sociaux, démographiques, culturels et économiques, plus ou moins distants, à la lumière de données statistiques les plus récentes. Ces contrées reflètent une image pessimiste : en écho d'une segmentation du marché du travail, le chômage frappe particulièrement la jeunesse, les itinéraires des jeunes femmes ressemblent à un dédale d'incertitudes et de contradictions. Pourtant, certains pays leur offrent davantage d'opportunités.
Spontaneous cytotoxic activity of eosinophilic granule cells separated from the normal peritoneal cavity ofDicentrarchus labrax

Abstract In this study the spontaneous in vitro cytotoxic activity to tumour cell lines, (K562), by unstimulated sea bass ( Dicentrarchus labrax ) leukocytes was examined by trypan blue exclusion test and lactate dehydrogenase release assay. A high anti-tumour cell line activity of resident peritoneal leukocytes was found at an effector to target ratio (E:T) of 25:1 after incubation for 2 h at 18° C. Rabbit and sheep erythrocytes were not lysed. A low activity was displayed by head kidney and spleen cell populations whereas blood leukocytes revealed no significant activity. Vibrio harveyi was isolated from internal organs or ulcers of diseased and apparently healthy gilthead sea bream (Sparus aurata) and European sea bass (Dicentrarchus labrax) cultured in several fish farms located on the Spanish Mediterranean coast. The prevalence of the bacterium was significantly higher in European sea bass than in gilthead sea bream, and was closely related to the season in both fish species, occurring almost exclusively on warm months (June to November). 7 pages; International audience; A sandstone slab bearing plant macro-remains was rediscovered during recent investigations led in the buildings of the old Musée Ignon-Fabre (Mende) which were closed in 1995 and emptied in 2003. The study of the slab clearly allows it to be identified as the holotype of Weltrichia fabrei Saporta, 1891 which has been considered destroyed since the end of the 20th Century. Gaston de Saporta described this Bennettitalean fructification based on a cast and considered the type locality as Rhaetian in age.
