Books about John Paul II aimed at the young reader were published even during the Pope's lifetime. However, their number increased rapidly after his canonization in 2014. Authors and publishers of such books presentthe image of Karol Wojtyła as a model of life and humanity based on love, goodness, honesty, and tolerance. This model is close to the Church's teachings and the educational standard that was used across many centuries. A real-life example has a much better chance to appeal to the child, as it shows that it is actually possible to follow said model. Šajā maģistra darbā tika pētītas cilvēku un materiālo lietu attiecības izmantojot Latvijā esošo labdarības veikalu tīkla “Otra Elpa ” gadījuma analīzi. Par galveno pētniecisko jautājumu tika izvirzīts: kādi ir biežāk sastopamākie attiecību veidi starp cilvēkiem un to vai kāda cita izmantotām materiālām mantām. The Fighter against the myth, or the memoirist who considers himself a Hercules (Anton Pavlovich Chekhov: an attempt at a characterization by N.M. Ezhov). The vast corpus about the 1920s Petrograd bandit Len’ka Panteleev, comprised of different texts – such as newspaper articles, fiction, film and song, with a complex and often ambiguous interplay between factual accounts and fictional adaptation – seems untypical for the era. A useful term of comparison is the similar corpus concerning the 18th century Moscow rogue Van’ka Kain. This article is based on language biographies acquired as part of the Polish-German LangGener project. Based on the assumption that biographical research may turn out to be cognitively interesting when analyzing identity and attitude towards the language, the purpose of the article is to reconstruct the identity of German-born Upper Silesians, whose identity, as a result of shifting borders after World War II and changing the prevailing language, is not static and whose language biographies are marked by the experience of a lack of continuity and cracks. Kieli-ideologiat ovat kieltä, sen käyttämistä ja käyttäjiä koskevia diskursiivisia määritelmiä ja kuvauksia. Vaikka kieli-ideologiat ovat juurtuneet historiallisiin käyttöyhteyksiin, ne ovat kuitenkin aina lokaalisesti tuotettuja ja yksilöllisesti koettuja. Ne siis rakentuvat sekä yksilöllisesti että yhteisöllisesti. Tarkastelen tässä artikkelissa saamen kieliin ja monikielisyyteen liittyviä kieli-ideologioita yhden monikielisen inarinsaamenpuhujan kertomana ja kokemana.
