Pirms Industriālās revolūcijas reklāma bija fenomens, kas izplatījās vietējā mērogā, taču mūsdienās reklāmdevēji uzskata, ka ir „jādomā globāli, bet jārīkojas lokāli”. Paralēli sarunām, kas noris starp globālas un lokālas reklāmas piekritējiem, reklāmdevējiem ir jāatrod veidi, kā patērētājiem pārdot produktus, un viens no veidiem ir transkreācija. Transkreācija ir salīdzinoši jauns jēdziens un tam ir veltīta neliela pētnieciskā darbība, turklāt latviešu valodā šis termins vēl nav atzīts (lai gan Latvijas reklāmdevēji lieto terminu „adaptācija”). The performance of a membrane bioreactor (MBR) system and the extension and mechanisms that lead to the formation of the fouling may differ in relation to the start-up. As a consequence, the MBR start-up may constitute a crucial point that drastically influence the MBR performance in its lifespan. Indeed, the start-up influences the mechanisms of membrane fouling whose effects, in the case of irreversible cake deposition, can be modified only by a chemical membrane washing. The paper presents the setting up of a mathematical model for membrane bioreactor able to simulate physical-biological wastewater organic removal. Nevertheless, one ethanol oxidation-related rat study with controversial results raised our interest. The MARA-LEB ion transport system

A low-energy branch is under development for the MARA vacuum-mode recoil separator at the Accelerator Laboratory of the University of Jyväskylä. This development will allow for the study of proton-rich nuclei through laser ionisation spectroscopy and mass measurements. After stopping and extraction from a buffer gas cell, the ions of interest will be accelerated and transported to dedicated experimental setups by an ion transport system consisting of several focusing, accelerating and mass-separating elements.
