Cucumis sativus L. is globally cultivated as an edible vegetable. Besides its nutritional benefits, it is used in traditional medicines against various ailments. The current study was designed to elucidate the multi-target mechanisms of a C. sativus seeds extract against asthma and diarrhea using network pharmacology along with a molecular docking approach. Abstract Molecular topology has been used to select new lead bronchodilator compounds. The main advantage of this method, as compared to others frequently used, is that it does not require a previous explicit knowledge of the mechanism of action (MOA) of the compounds analyzed. A large database (12,000 chemicals) has been examined in this study to find less than 5% compounds with bronchodilator activity. W Polsce występuje ona bardzo rzadko na rozproszonych stanowiskach, skupionych głównie w dorzeczu górnej i środkowej Odry oraz w dorzeczu górnej Wisły, w miejscach wilgotnych, mulistych lub piaszczystych, na brzegach obu rzek i ich starorzeczy, a także na dnie wysychających stawów hodowlanych, w zbiorowiskach namułkowych z klasy Isoëto-Nanojuncetea. Wschód chrześcijański jest niezwykle zróżnicowany. Niektóre Kościoły chrześcijańskiego Wschodu wypracowały rozbudowaną sztukę ikonograficzną wraz z teorią tej sztuki, a inne tego nie uczyniły. Kościół Konstantynopolitański wypracował wzorce w dziedzinie ikonografii, także maryjnej. Bizantyjskie ikony maryjne można podzielić na cztery grupy: (1) święta maryjne; (2) ikony teologiczne; (3) ikony symboliczne; (4) ikony liturgiczne. Cechą charakterystyczną ikon teologicznych jest skupienie się na więzi Maryi i Chrystusa (Boga). Do tych ikon należą typy: Kyriotissa, Hodegetria, Eleusa, Platytera. Są to najważniejsze, podstawowe ikony Maryi omówione w artykule.
