Abstract The reliability of systems with moving cracked elastic and isotropic material is considered. The material is modeled as a moving plate which continually has a crack on the edge. The plate is subjected to homogeneous tension acting in the traveling direction and the tension varies temporally around a constant value, the set tension. The tension and the length of the crack are modeled by an Ornstein–Uhlenbeck process and an exponential Ornstein–Uhlenbeck process, respectively. This chapter examines the ways migration shapes men migrants’ adulthood transitions, their performance of masculinities during migration and upon their return, and their narratives of adult male identity. Several benign and malignant nonepithelial and stromal-like lesions arise in the prostate. Because such lesions are rare, their recognition is essential, because treatment and prognosis depend on an adequate pathohistologic classification. We report a case of an 83-year-old man with a stromal tumor of the prostate of uncertain malignant potential (STUMP). He presented with urinary retention and rectal constipation. On bimanual examination, a rectally and suprapubically palpable mass was found. Imaging studies revealed a 12 x 8 cm pararectal inhomogeneous mass of uncertain origin compressing rectum and urethra. Green geopolymeric concrete using grits for applications in construction

Abstract This work investigates the production a green geopolymer-based concrete for a sustainable construction material using biomass wastes from a kraft pulp industry: fly ash (as main alumina-silicate source) and grits (as aggregate). Moreover, a simple, reproducible, ambient temperature, and low-cost manufacture is followed. Mix design aims to maximize wastes incorporation and optimize the mechanical performance.
