Stepmothers’ constructions and negotiations of belonging

Applying a narrative approach and symbolic interactionist frame of reference, this study examines how Finnish stepmothers in their written narratives construct and negotiate their belonging. Belonging is a relevant concept in this study since it focuses on social interaction and intersubjectivity, and their emotional content. Three types of belonging were identified: (a) restricted belonging, (b) dyadic stepmother–stepchild belonging and (c) the spousal relationship as a focal dyad of belonging. DeutschIn dieser an Korpuslinguistik, Formelsprache und Studien uber eingeschrankte Kommunikation grenzende Forschungsstudie, die sich hier auf Ubersetzung, Dolmetschen und L2 konzentriert, wollen wir uberprufen, ob die in der polnisch-englischen Komponente eines intermodalen EPTIC-Korpus gefundenen eingeschrankten Texte sich von den einheimischen Texten unterscheiden in Bezug auf die Verwendung benachbarter Wortkombinationen, oft Bigrams genannt, und ob ahnliche Muster in gesprochenen und geschriebenen Registern gefunden werden konnen. Bakalaura darba tēma – vēdera dobuma DT izmeklējumu parametru pielāgošanas pacientiem pēc pacientu ķermeņa konstitūcijas. Tēmas aktualitāte ir liekā svara un adipozitātes gadījumu biežums Latvijas iedzīvotāju vidū. Kā liecina statistika: 2012. gadā 32% (vecumā no 15 līdz 64 g.) konstatēta adipozitāte, savukārt 18% iedzīvotāju – liekais svars (1). Ground and first excited electronic state interaction of FAD with some β-carboline derivatives

Abstract The spectrophotometric and thermodynamic properties of molecular complexes of flavine adenine dinucleotide (FAD) with some dihydro β-carboline derivatives have been investigated in aqueous solution. The molecular associations have been examined by means of electronic absorption spectra, since in each a new charge-transfer band has been located, and also the variation of the fluorescence emission of FAD on the solutions has been observed. The formation constants for the molecular complexes were determined from absorption data, using the Foster-Hammick-Wardley method.
