Fra i cambiamenti più rilevanti in atto nel mondo del lavoro vi è certamente quello riguardante la diversa accezione che ha assunto l’identità professionale. In presenza di una accentuata volubilità e di una difficile definzione dell’identità professionale – spesso divisa fra molte occupazioni svolte in luoghi e in momenti della propria vita e della giornata diversi – il bisogno di ricomposizione che caratterizza la frammentata società contemporanea e che si declina nei diversi ambiti istituzionali sembra assumere nel lavoro connotazioni assolutamente specifiche che meritano particolare attenzione. Il volume risultato dell’approfondimento di una ricerca condotta in Italia nel 2004 da dieci sedi universitarie e riguardante i percorsi di ricomposizione sociale degli adulti-giovani intende offrire un’analisi dei cambiamenti determinati dal differente modo in cui si declina per questa fascia di età la dimensione lavorativa. Il lavoro ci si è chiesti può essere considerato un ambito di ricomposizione nella frammentata vita degli adulti giovani? Attraverso l’analisi quali-quantitativa di diverso materiale empirico si è inteso scandagliare nel rapporto esistente fra lavoro progetto biografico e formazione dell’identità professionale in un periodo in cui la difficile “transizione alla vita adulta” assume sempre più i caratteri della dilazione continuata e in cui “ricomporre la vita” diventa anche per gli adulti giovani sempre più difficile.

This study considers the relationship of the three dimensions of organizational commitment (affective, normative, and continuance commitment) with employees' organizational citizenship behavior in a high-unemployment environment. Upper gastrointestinal (GI) side effects are a main reason for discontinuing bisphosphonate treatment, an important therapeutic option for osteoporosis patients. Consequently, the development of novel formulations with improved tolerability is warranted. Moderately close Neumann inclusions for the Poisson equation

We investigate the behavior of the solution of a mixed problem for the Poisson equation in a domain with two moderately close holes. If ϱ1 and ϱ2 are two positive parameters, we define a perforated domain Ω(ϱ1,ϱ2) by making two small perforations in an open set: the size of the perforations is ϱ1ϱ2, while the distance of the cavities is proportional to ϱ1. Then, if r∗ is small enough, we analyze the behavior of the solution for (ϱ1,ϱ2) close to the degenerate pair (0,r∗). Copyright © 2016 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.

Recovery of time-dependent coefficients from boundary data for hyperbolic equations

We study uniqueness of the recovery of a time-dependent magnetic vector-valued potential and an electric scalar-valued potential on a Riemannian manifold from the knowledge of the Dirichlet to Neumann map of a hyperbolic equation. The Cauchy data is observed on time-like parts of the space-time boundary and uniqueness is proved up to the natural gauge for the problem. The proof is based on Gaussian beams and inversion of the light ray transform on Lorentzian manifolds under the assumptions that the Lorentzian manifold is a product of a Riemannian manifold with a time interval and that the geodesic ray transform is invertible on the Riemannian manifold.

Correlation at Low Temperature: II. Asymptotics

The present paper is a continuation of ref. 4, where the truncated two-point correlation function for a class of lattice spin systems was proved to have exponential decay at low temperature, under a weak coupling assumption. In this paper we compute the asymptotics of the correlation function as the temperature goes to zero. This paper thus extends ref. 3 in two directions: The Hamiltonian function is allowed to have several local minima other than a unique global minimum, and we do not require translation invariance of the Hamiltonian function. We are in particular able to handle spin systems on a general lattice.

A construction of Frobenius manifolds from stability conditions

A finite quiver $Q$ without loops or 2-cycles defines a 3CY triangulated category $D(Q)$ and a finite heart $A(Q)$. We show that if $Q$ satisfies some (strong) conditions then the space of stability conditions $Stab(A(Q))$ supported on this heart admits a natural family of semisimple Frobenius manifold structures, constructed using the invariants counting semistable objects in $D(Q)$. In the case of $A_n$ evaluating the family at a special point we recover a branch of the Saito Frobenius structure of the $A_n$ singularity $y^2 = x^{n+1}$. Wilson Loop Form Factors: A New Duality

We find a new duality for form factors of lightlike Wilson loops in planar $\mathcal N=4$ super-Yang-Mills theory. The duality maps a form factor involving an $n$-sided lightlike polygonal super-Wilson loop together with $m$ external on-shell states, to the same type of object but with the edges of the Wilson loop and the external states swapping roles. This relation can essentially be seen graphically in Lorentz harmonic chiral (LHC) superspace where it is equivalent to planar graph duality. Explicit results for all orders of the epsilon-expansion of certain massive and massless diagrams

An arbitrary term of the epsilon-expansion of dimensionally regulated off-shell massless one-loop three-point Feynman diagram is expressed in terms of log-sine integrals related to the polylogarithms. Using magic connection between these diagrams and two-loop massive vacuum diagrams, the epsilon-expansion of the latter is also obtained, for arbitrary values of the masses. The problem of analytic continuation is also discussed.
