A COVID-19 news coverage mood map of Europe

We present a COVID-19 news dashboard which visualizes sentiment in pandemic news coverage in different languages across Europe. The dashboard shows analyses for positive/neutral/negative sentiment and moral sentiment for news articles across countries and languages. First we extract news articles from news-crawl. Then we use a pre-trained multilingual BERT model for sentiment analysis of news article headlines and a dictionary and word vectors -based method for moral sentiment analysis of news articles. Work Stress Relationship with Fear of COVID-19 Among Employees

Darba mērķis bija izpētīt darba stresa saistību ar bailēm no COVID-19. Pētījuma izlase 114 viena uzņēmuma darbinieki, kuri aktīvi pildīja darba pienākumus, kas bija saistīti ar tiešu kontaktu ar klientiem pandēmijas laikā. Izmantotās metodes: Darba stresa anketa, Uztvertā stresa skala; Bailes no COVID-19 skala un demogrāfiskie dati. Uzņēmuma darbiniekiem bija vidēji augsti darba stresa, vidēji uztvertā stresa un zemi bailes no COVID-19 rādītāji. Vidēji cieša saistība bija starp darba stresa un uztvertā stresa, bet vājas saistība starp uztvertā stresa, darba stresa un bailēm no COVID-19 rādītājiem.

Aptauja ir veikta projekta "Ekonomiskais, politiskais un juridiskais ietvars Latvijas tautsaimniecības potenciāla saglabāšanai un konkurētspējas pieauguma veicināšanai pēc pandēmijas izraisītas krīzes (reCOVery-LV)" ietvaros. Aptaujas mērķis ir novērtēt kā sabiedrība uztver valsts politikas atbilstību krīzes radītām sekām. Aptaujas rezultāti tika izmantoti zinātniskā raksta un monogrāfijas sagatavošanai.

Recent studies have suggested that health constructs embraced by the Terror Management Theory (TMT) and the Basic Psychological Needs Theory (BPNT) may drive individuals’ COVID-19 health-related decisions. This study examines the relationships between existential concerns (ECs; within the TMT), basic psychological needs (BPNs; within the BPNT) and COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy (VH), as well as the mediating role of negative attitudes toward COVID-19 vaccines. Pour traiter ce sujet, l’une des possibilités consiste à le traiter de manière chronologique, c’est-à-dire d’évoquer l’action de l’Ue au début de la crise naissante pour lui faire face, puis dans la crise et enfin après la crise.
