We validate eleven syntaxa (eight associations and three alliances) of tall-forb vegetation that were published earlier as nomina provisoria according to the International Code of Phytosociological Nomenclature. The validation concerns syntaxa of tall-forb vegetation of the class Prangetea ulopterae Klein 1987 reported from Pamir-Alai and western Tian Shan Mountains (Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan). Taxonomic reference: Cherepanov (1995). Abbreviations: ICPN = International Code of Phytosociological Nomenclature.

An investigation of the compatibilization of blends of polyethylene and a semirigid liquid crystalline polymer

The mechanical properties of blends with liquid crystalline polymers are in general poor and lower than those expected on the basis of additivity rule because of the strong incompatibility between the flexible and rigid components. Compatibilization is then necessary to enhance the adhesion between the two phases and then to improve the final properties of these blends. The addition of maleic anhydride functionalized polymers could give rise to some compatibilization because of possible reactions between the maleic anhydride group and the end groups of the liquid crystalline polymers. Galvenais jaunu terapijas veidu izstrādāšanas kavēklis ir efektīvas HBV infekciju un replikāciju nodrošinošas in vitro modeļsistēmas trūkums. Pateicoties revolucionāram atklājumam par NTCP (sodium taurocholate cotransporting peptide) lomu HBV infekcijas procesā pašlaik tiek aktīvi izstrādātās jaunās HBV in vitro infekcijas modeļsistēmas. This paper presents an analysis of the intervention dose-effect of the Parent Child Psychological Support Program© (Cerezo 1990) a program aimed at promoting protective adaptive system in children which is offered to all new-borns in a given catchment area. The program offers support to parents during the first 18 months of the baby's life. The program dose-effect is examined regarding the parents by examining the level of distress reported by them and with babies by examining the development of attachment using the Strange Situation test of Ainsworth et al. Praca zawiera analizę stabilności sieci na podstawie protokołu TCP-DCR, będącego modyfikacją tradycyjnego TCP. Utworzono model matematyczny sieci i opisano go równaniami.
