Effect of extrusion on the anti-nutritional factors of food products: An overview
2017
International audience; Edible plant seeds such as cereals, legumes and nuts contain substantial amounts of nutrients including proteins, carbohydrates, minerals, vitamins, and dietary fibers. However, the bioavailability of these nutrients in humans or animals is relatively low, particularly when they are consumed in their unprocessed or raw form. One of the major factors that contribute to a lower nutritional value of legumes and cereals is the presence of naturally-occurring anti-nutritional factors (ANFs, e.g. phytate, tannins and enzyme inhibitors) that indirectly decreasing the bioavailability status of minerals. Fortunately, these ANFs can be modified or reduced through different pro…
Prédire le passé et le futur : rôle des représentations motrices dans l'inférence du mouvement
2012
The effectiveness of the visual system is permitted by a complex processing network, which relies on cortical, sub-cortical and peripheral structures. The purpose of this research is to improve the knowledge of the process sustaining the visual perception of motion, and to produce a computational model able to reproduce the features of human visual tracking of a moving object. This work includes an extensive bibliographic research, and a series of experiments. The thesis consists of two parts:The first part pertains to the determination of performance in the "backward" inference of a partially visible movement. It consist of defining the involvement of exogenous information (retinal signals)…
Target 5G visible light positioning signal subcarrier extraction method using particle swarm optimization algorithm
2021
International audience; With the explosive growth of demand for Internet of Things (IoT) applications and the increasing dependence of users on wireless connections, indoor location based service(LBS) under 5G-Public-Private Partnership (5G-PPP) using cases have received more attention and get rapid development. Thanks to the safty, security and customization of 5G network pointed by 5G forum white paper, indoor positioning systems using unified 5G New Radio (NR) signals have become the focus of the next generation of visible light positioning (VLP) systems. In 5G New Radio(NR) frame, totally 192 subcarriers are used to carry positioning reference signal(PRS). In order to improve the positi…
Localisation basée vision à partir de caractéristiques discriminantes issues de données visuelles hétérogènes
2019
Visual-based Localization (VBL) consists in retrieving the location of a visual image within a known space. VBL is involved in several present-day practical applications, such as indoor and outdoor navigation, 3D reconstruction, etc. The main challenge in VBL comes from the fact that the visual input to localize could have been taken at a different time than the reference database. Visual changes may occur on the observed environment during this period of time, especially for outdoor localization. Recent approaches use complementary information in order to address these visually challenging localization scenarios, like geometric information or semantic information. However geometric or sema…
On improving the accuracy of Visible Light Positioning system using deep autoencoder
2020
International audience; DC-biased optical Orthogonal Frequency DivisionMultiplexing (DCO-OFDM)-based visible light positioning (VLP)technology along with the Received Signal Strength(RSS) po-sitioning algorithm is widely used to achieve centimeter levelpositioning accuracy for incoming 5G era, especially indoorenvironment. However, the DCO-OFDM has the peak-to-averagepower ratio (PAPR) issue which imposes the nonlinear distortionand it will directly affect the positioning accuracy in the VLPsystem. The PAPR reduction scheme is urgently needed. There-fore, in this paper, the impact of PAPR reduction scheme onpositioning accuracy is investigated. The positioning accuracywith and without the s…
FFI 2008-01200/FISO HAR 2008-04273-E/HIST HAR2011-24878 We approach the chaînes opératoires of limestones found in lev…
Going in Homer: The Role of Verb-Inherent Actionality Within Self-Propelled Motion-Event Encoding
2019
The paper aims at investigating the encoding of self-propelled motion events in Homeric Greek in the light of the typology of motion events, taking into account the case of to go. The verbal class of the self-propelled motion refers to those verbs expressing the idea of a simple translational motion, such as to go, to move, without any information about the manner of motion (see, by contrast, the class of the manner-of-motion verbs, such as to run, to swim) or about the path of motion (see, by contrast, the class of the path verbs, such as to enter, to exit). According to Talmy (2000), world languages can be distinguished depending on whether they prototypically express the semantic compone…
Filmu nosaukumu pragmatiskā adaptācija Latvijas auditorijai tulkojumos no angļu valodas latviešu un krievu valodā
2018
π-Electron delocalization in 2-benzoyl-5-phenylpyrazolidin-3-one
2018
Abstract The crystal and molecular structures of 2-benzoyl-5-phenylpyrazolidin-3-one have been characterized by X-ray diffraction along with density functional theory studies. Cinnamic acid chloride was reacted with benzhydrazide, yielding 2-benzoyl-5-phenylpyrazolidin-3-one. This product was formed in the transformation comprising the nucleophilic addition of benzhydrazide to the styryl fragment of the α,β-unsaturated arrangement and subsequent cyclization. The molecule contains two benzene rings and one five-membered heterocyclic ring with an N–N single bond. The five-membered ring is composed of three atoms of sp 3 hybridization and two atoms of sp 2 hybridization, which cause the flatte…
CRITICAL ANALYSIS OF SHORELINE LOCALIZATION METHODS BY MEANS OF AERIAL OR SATELLITE IMAGERY ON MEDITERRANEAN SANDY BEACHES
2013
Shoreline localization is fundamental for designing and planning shore protection works as well as for managing and monitoring various anthropic activities along the coast. The sea-land boundary, however, changes continually with time because of waves and tides, which makes the shoreline detection complex and dubious and the boundary line finally assumed can only be conventional. In the last few decades the use of several geomorphologic indicators has been proposed, such as the berm above sea level, the groundwater exit point, historic high tide levels, etc., but the aim has not been achieved yet. Among the methods used, analysis of aerial and satellite imagery is common, in particular when…
