Eclogites and garnet pyroxenites: Similarities and differences

Eclogites and garnet pyroxenites are genetically linked to basaltic precursors. Traditionally garnet pyroxenites are linked to fractionation of basaltic Magmas Over a range of mantle pressures and more recently they have been implicated in the genesis of ocean islands. in contrast eclogites are linked to the subduction of slab basalt and gabbro precursors which may be hydrothermally altered. Recently this subduction paradigm has been questioned. We present mineralogical, trace element and O isotopic data for eclogites and garnet pyroxenites that reveal some similarities but also important chemical and isotopic differences that support a distinct provenance (i.e., age and process). The present article deals with the Italian Electronic Health Record (hereinafter ehr), recently introduced by Act 221/2012, with a specific focus on personal data protection. Privacy issues — e.g., informed consent, data processing, patients’ rights and minors’ will — are discussed within the framework of recent e-Health legislation, national Data Protection Code, the related Data Protection Authority pronouncements and eu law. The paper is aimed at discussing the problems arising from a complex, fragmentary and sometimes uncertain legal framework on e-Health.

The research carried outin this paper aims at the knowledge of the typological and constructive characteristics of the building in Caltabellotta, in order to think about the seismic vulnerability. To achieve this goal, sheets were drawn up on the building types found and on the construction elements, looking for a method to overcome the difficulty of knowing the masonry due to the presence of plaster.

Aiming at evaluating the seismic vulnerability of the old town of Caltabellotta, first the main characteristics of the new survey cards CARTIS for the structural typology characterization recently developed, and the bases of the macroseismic method for seismic vulnerability and fragility curve estimation, are briefly summarized. Nel 1970 Giuseppe Samonà coordina il gruppo di progettazione formato da Vittorio Gregotti, Gianni Pirrone e Alberto Samonà per il Progetto del Centro civico, commerciale e culturale di Gibellina Nuova. Del piano è realizzato il municipio e poi, rielaborato e in altro luogo, il teatro. I monumenti, fondati su un asse pedonale in quota connesso a un suolo artificiale articolato, esprimono l’unità architettura – urbanistica e anticipano, per certi versi, una riflessione successiva del Direttore dello IUAV sulla dialettica fra urbano e rurale.

This contribution is about the enhancement of the tangible and intangible cultural heritage and acknowledgement of environmental sustainability principles. It deals with the relationship between new ways of conceiving urban environments and new strategies for urban regeneration in northern and southern Mediterranean cities. Our main research hypothesis will show how the cultural heritage is now the force for change in Mediterranean cities, and involves stakeholders, craftsmen, local inhabitants and consumers. Violemment bombardée en 1943, la cité campanienne de Bénévent a subi l'absence de conscience historique des décideurs de l'après-guerre. Un concours d'idées national vient d'être lancé pour la valorisation du secteur le plus dégradé du centre ancien. Le projet de l'équipe lauréate - Pasquale Culotta, Riccardo Florio et Andrea Sciascia - présentait aux yeux du jury l'intérêt d'avoir appliqué le principe de la contemporanéité à des hypothèses de travail et de principes d'intervention issus d'une compréhension sensible de la morphologie, de la topographie et du lieu.
