Die Untersuchung der Flusssiedlung La Motte bei Agde (Hérault, Frankreich) im Jahre 2004 hat zur Ent- deckung eines bedeutenden, unberührten Depots von Bronzeobjekten geführt. Das Ensemble wurde noch nicht vollständig restauriert, doch erlauben die bereits untersuchten 330 Objekte eine vorläufige, zusam- menfassende Vorlage. Es finden sich vor allem Kleidungs- und Trachtelemente, durch die das reiche Zere- monialkleid einer Frau aus dem Languedoc der frühen Eisenzeit (8. oder erste Hälfte des 7. This paper discusses the results in applying Italy's law in preventive archaeology five years after the publication of the executive rules. It examines strenghts and weaknisses of the law, the latter identified in the scant attention paid to ancient topography and landscape archaeology. The role of university departments, the responsabilities of the Superintendences, the role of cooperatives of young archaeologists, the problems arising from the heavy costs in publishing the reserach results are examined. It is also proposed that the archaeological exavations and the programs of musealization be financed by a national fund fed by a percentage of the costs of all projects of public interest.

This new study of funerary monuments in Roman Gaul aims at putting emphasis on the various tools used by the ancient populations to perpetuate the memories of their dead. Thanks to carved images or texts, the mention of the name, of the identity of the deceased and of specific aspects of his everyday life were some of the means used to keep his memory alive in the world of the living. The geographical area chosen corresponds to three ancient territories : thoose of the Aeduens, the Lingons and the Sequans. We wish to present in this paper a general study of the funereal stelas in Iberian culture. We begin with the analysis of the Peninsular tradition preceding the development of the Iberian world in order to consider this type of funereal monument within the landscape of cemeteries which seem to be more and more complex and varied. We will assess the different groups of stelas (5th-1st centuries B.C.) on the basis of their morphology, iconography and, in some cases, epigraphs. We present some examples from the provinces of Castellón and Teruel which have been subjected to recent studies.
Les objets en plomb découverts sur le site portuaire médiéval de Taillebourg - Port d'Envaux : typologie, fonction et origine

Des prospections subaquatiques menees dans la Charente, sur le site de Taillebourg – Port d’Envaux (17), ont revele la presence de nombreux temoins d’activites lies au fleuve Charente, dates principalement des periodes merovingienne et carolingienne. Parmi l’abondant mobilier decouvert figure un lot d’objets en plomb.Ces plombs ont ete trouves dans un contexte de pratiques halieutiques. Les premieres interpretations les definissent comme des lests d’engins de peche. La decouverte d’un tel corpus est deja en soi un fait interessant. En effet, la facilite de recyclage de ce materiau de plaide pas pour sa conservation. L’etude de ce materiel a porte a la fois sur la definition de leur typologi…
