Synthese und chemische Eigenschaften des ersten verzweigten, molekulareinheitlichen Oligoamids mit definierter Struktur werden beschrieben. N,N-[Di-(ϵ-aminocaproyl)]-ϵ-aminocapronsaure (V), ein Oligomeres aus drei Aminocapronsaureresten mit einer Acylamidverzweigung, wurde durch Acylierung der Saureamidgruppe einer amino- und carboxyl-geschutzten Di-ϵ-aminocapronsaure mit einem N-geschutzten ϵ-Aminocaproylchlorid und nachfolgender Abspaltung aller Schutzgruppen als Hydrochlorid bzw. 2-hydroxyethylierung von oligo(iminoethylen)en und deren überführung in oligo-[N-(2-chloroethyl)iminoethylen]e

Oligo[N-(2-chloroethyl)iminoethylene]s (8) were synthesized as potential antitumor agents like their low molecular weight analogues. It was found that oligo(iminoethylene)s (5) can be 2-hydroxyethylated with ethylene oxide and subsequently transformed into oligo[N-(2-chloroethyl)iminoethylene hydrochloride]s (14) with thionyl chloride. The stability of the free oligomers 8 was found to decrease with the number of N-2-chloroethyl groups in the molecule.

The cyclizations of tetrahydroisoquinoline 1,2-amino alcohols with phenylphosphonic dichloride, bis(2-chloroethyl)phosphoramidic dichloride, thionyl chloride and sulfuryl chloride were utilized to synthesize 1,5,6,10b-tetrahydro-1,3,2-oxazaphospholo[4,3-a]isoquinolines (2, 3), 1,5,10,10a-tetrahydro-1,3,2-oxazaphospholo[3,4-b]isoquinolines (8, 9), 1,5,6,10b-tetrahydro-1,2,3-oxathiazolo[4,3-a]isoquinolines (4–6) anda 1,5,10,10a-tetrahydro-1,2,3-oxathiazolo[3,4-b]isoquinoline (11), which are the first representatives of these ring systems. Benzodiselenagermoles and spirobisbenzodiselenagermoles

Synthesis of benzodiselenagermoles and bisbenzodiselenagermoles was carried out by transmetallation group 4 group 14 between diselenophenylenezirconocenes and dialkyl-, diaryl- or alkylaryldichlorogermanes, aryltrichlorogermane or germanium tetrachloride. The new compounds were studied by 1H, 77Se NMR and mass spectrometry. In the case of compounds with substituted phenyl groups, double irradiation and 2D NMR experiments were performed to determine the chemical shifts of the two selenium atoms. The crystal structure of a spirobisbenzodiselenagermole has been established by X-ray diffraction analysis.

Abstract Condensation of 4,4-bis-(4-methoxyphenyl)-2-methyl-2-pentanol with phenol, in the presence of hydrogen chloride, gives 1,3,3-trimethyl-1-(4-methoxyphenyl)-5-methoxyindan and tris-(4-methoxyphenyl)-ethane instead of expected 2,2,4-tris-(4-methoxyphenyl)-4-methylpentane (trisphenol-II). tris-(4-Hydroxyphenyl)-ethane was obtained, together with bisphenol-A, by condensation of phenol with acetylacetone.

The unique oxidizing power of molybdenum pentachloride provides an easy to perform, versatile, and high yielding method to construct carbazoles and the corresponding dibenzo analogues of thiophene, furan, and selenophene. The coupling reaction tolerates a variety of functional groups. The synthesis is highly modular. By this approach a precursor for the naturally occurring carbazole koenigicine was prepared.

An in eindeutiger Synthese und im praparativen Masstab zuganglich gewordenen hohermolekularen, molekulareinheitlichen Phenol-Formaldehyd-Kondensaten (Mol.-Gew. bis zu 1500) wird die Acetylierung, die Umsetzung mit Diphenylcarbamidsaure-chlorid zu Poly-[N-diphenyl-]urethanen und mit Formaldehyd und Dimethylamin zu MANNICH-Basen untersucht. Bei den zwei ersten Umsetzungen wird mit Hilfe der Elementaranalyse bzw. der Acetylbestimmung sowie der UR-Spektren zu unterscheiden versucht, ob alle Hydroxygruppen einer Molekel umgesetzt werden konnen. Polycondensed nitrogen heterocycles. XXII. A new synthesis of 5,6-dihydro-7H-pyrazolo[1,5-d][1,4]benzodiazepin-6-ones

A new synthesis of 2-methyl-9-R'-10-R-5,6-dihydro-7H-pyrazolo[1,5-d][1,4]benzodiazepin-6-ones (4a-c) is deserved. Reaction of ethyl hydrazinoacetate hydrochloride with 1,3-diketones 1a-c gave both 3-methyl-5-(4R'-5-R-2-nitrophenyl)pyrazol-1-yl-acetate acids (2a-c) and the corresponding ethyl esters 3a-c. Reduction with the appropiate reducing agent of compounds 2a-c and 3a-c directly gave the title compounds. Compound 4a showed insecticidal properties against the house fly.
