En este trabajo se han estudiado las interacciones farmacocinéticas del efavirenz (EFV) con tres fármacos metabolizados por el citocromo P450 (sertralina (SRT), nortriptilina (NT) y rifampicina (RFP)), utilizando la rata como animal de experimentación. El EFV se administró por vía intraduodenal (dosis = 10 mg) y los otros fármacos se administraron por vía intraduodenal (SRT y NT) o por vía oral (RFP). La coadministración de EFV y SRT (dosis de 5 mg y 10 mg) dio lugar a niveles plasmáticos de EFV mayores que los obtenidos en el grupo de control (animales administrados solo con EFV). Englanninkielen käyttöä suomenkielisen tekstin lomassa on tutkittu videopeleihin liittyen keskusteluanalyysiä käyttäen, muttei koskaan diskurssi- tai sisältöanalyysillä. Myöskään pelivideoissa esiintyvää kielen vaihtelua ei ole tutkittu. Tämä tutkimus pyrkii selvittämään tapaustutkimuksen kautta, miten suomea äidinkielenään käyttävä pelivideoiden tekijä käyttää videoissaan englantia. En aquesta tesi, que presenta dos parts diferenciades, incidim inicialment en el paper que juga la interrelació de comunitats planctòniques i bentòniques amb el medi, que en comunitats somes (com moltes de les estudiades) es troben habitualment mesclades a la columna d’aigua. Content analysis (with SPAD.T software) reveals potentially divergent view among companies as to the primary nature and purpose of a corporate ethics document. Can the advantage of risk-managing life-history strategies become a disadvantage under human-induced evolution? Organisms have adapted to the variability and uncertainty of environmental conditions with a vast diversity of life-history strategies. One such evolved strategy is multiple-batch spawning, a spawning strategy common to long-lived fishes that ‘hedge their bets' by distributing the risk to their offspring on a temporal and spatial scale. The fitness benefits of this spawning strategy increase with female body size, the very trait that size-selective fishing targets. Allium sphaeronixum (Amaryllidaceae), A New Species from Turkey

In this paper, Allium sphaeronixum, a new species of the sect. Codonoprasum from Turkey, is described and illustrated. The new species is endemic to Central Anatolia, limited to the area of Nevşehir, where it grows on sandy or rocky soil at an elevation of 1000–1300 m a.s.l. Its morphology, phenology, karyology, leaf anatomy, seed testa micromorphology, chorology, and conservation status are examined in detail. The taxonomic relationships with the closest allied species, A. staticiforme and A. myrianthum, are also highlighted and discussed.
Crypthecodinium cohnii metabolisma matemātiskā modelēšana DHA ražošanas optimizācijai

Datormodelēšana un bioķīmisko ceļu simulēšana ir sistēmbioloģijas pamatnostādnes, un pastāv vairākas metodes, kas var palīdzēt šo sistēmu izpētīšanā. Darbā izmantota divu sistēmbioloģijas modelēšanas metožu pieeja šūnu taukskābju sintēzes metabolisma pētīšanai. Darba ietvaros izveidots kinētiskais modelis, kas ietver glikolīzes ceļa reakcijas un reakcijas, kas ved līdz taukskābju sintezējošajam enzīmam- FAS, kā arī pilnveidots genoma izmēra metaboliskais modelis dinoflagellātam Crypthecodinium cohnii.
